A very enjoyable gel plate printing session using my plant cut-outs as masks. I only intended to sit down and print for half an hour or so, several hours later, I was still ready for more.
I am sort of taking part in Birgit Koopsen's gel printing challenge, but I am keeping it flexible, because I have enough on the go already.

Day 95 of #the100dayproject I finished this lovely spinning project, a blend of various fibres, about 320 metres. I shall weave something with it.

I've been away from home, but I brought some drop spindle spinning with me so I could keep up with my #100dayproject This is some fibre that's been in my stash for many years and is fairly coarse, I think it may be Herdwick and I probably dyed it myself as it looks like colours I'd use. The spindle is a Lollipop that I purchased over 25 years ago. Spinning art yarn is such fun, here is some delightful BFL and ramie blend that I have had in my stash (purchased from Hilltop Cloud more than 7 years ago, it has been that long). It is spun thick and thin with lovely chunky slubs and plied with some fine silk, it is so soft and lofty. It shall be an accent in a handwoven scarf, I think.

Day 59 of #the100dayproject and I cut this Baltic pick-up band off my inkle loom. It's a slow process to weave, but I find it very soothing. There's a whole video about the technique on my YouTube channel (link in bio) if you want to know more. I think I will start another band tomorrow.

Day 58 and I am still doing the #100dayproject although I am terrible at posting about it. I have mostly been bandweaving, but I am also spinning (and dyeing) some yarn. Here is some wild art yarn, it is such fun to spin!

Here is something I made last week as part of #the100dayproject (it's in my latest youtube video). I tried some stitching on watercolour and I think I'd like to experiment further with this.

I am still doing #the100dayproject2025 and working on string related things every day, even though I have been quite rough with a virus - and I am away from the home and studio a lot of the day at the moment. Thankfully, I have these easy portable projects to get on with. These is a key ring with lucky shamrocks for St Patrick's day next week. The background paper is from a beautiful scrapbooking pad I purchased from The Works (UK), it is lovely!

Sill unwell, but I've finished two short tablet woven bands, both are very simple designs which is perfect for my limited attention span while I am ill.
