Ughhhhhh! For as smart and magnificent as hummingbirds are, they sure do love getting stuck in my garage. With 24ft ceilings, I can’t get them out until they are too weak to keep flying.

This little boy wrapped up his Little League career last night in the most amazing way.

But let me start at the beginning. Six years ago (when G was in soccer), his coach asked what his name was. Without hesitation, Graham said to call him Baby Ruth. The name stuck and stayed with him.
Over the years, he’s brought home a lot of championship jewelry. (The winning team gets a ring.) I remember the time when someone made the comment, “Wow, Graham, you must be really good at baseball!” To which Graham replied, “Nah, I’m just really good at winning.”
Well, buddy, I’m so thrilled that you got to win one more time. Your last Little League game ever, and you pulled off the W. I’m so so proud of your heart and the way you showed up for your team. ❤️ Go, Bruins!

My son told me the other day that he didn’t think basketball practice was making him any better. So, we talked about how time makes you better. You won’t see a difference from one practice. You’ll realize the improvement over time… and isn’t it a blessing that we are strong enough and capable to show up everyday!?!?
