Fashion Week in Sydney always feels a little surreal. Fast moving days, fittings running into the evening, endless racks, steamers, deliveries and somehow trying to hold everything together in between.

This year, having a space that allowed our team to settle into the rhythm of the week made such a difference. From early fittings through to late nights preparing over 50 looks for the runway, everyone at @qtsydneyhotel made the process feel incredibly seamless and welcoming for the whole team.

A special thank you to the staff for being so generous, warm and accommodating throughout the week. It genuinely meant a lot during such an intense few days leading into the show.

Transparent flats scattered with pearls, delicate bows, fine straps and lace pointed heels carried quietly through the runway.

COMPOSE was built on the idea of pieces that adapt and evolve, and the styles felt naturally connected to that world. Light, feminine and understated in a way that softened the silhouettes without distracting from them.

COMPOSE Resort 2027

A study in softness, restraint and transformation.
Tailoring unfastens into fluidity, sheer layers reveal and conceal, and familiar silhouettes are reimagined through tension, transparency and movement. Pieces are designed to shift with the wearer, composed differently depending on mood, occasion and instinct.

Beauty for COMPOSE was always intended to feel quietly real skin that feels alive, luminous and deeply cared for rather than overworked or masked.

Working alongside @weledaaustralia and @beautybyrosh Lead Makeup Director @susanlilianmakeup and her team created a makeup direction that remained soft, fresh and slightly undone, focusing on beautiful skin and subtle radiance that never competed with the individuality of each model. Lashes were left slightly imperfect and softly clumped, adding a subtle undone tension to the otherwise restrained beauty look.

Hair followed the same philosophy. Led by @benmartinhair and the @revlonprofessionalaustralia team, working with @halohairaustralia, the look remained imperfect and elevated where needed with beautiful virgin hair extensions to softly enhance texture, movement and overall harmony throughout the collection.

Jewellery became a natural extension of this world. The refined simplicity of @lavanajewellery from delicate knot details to stacked ear cuffs, sculptural hoops and fine layered chains brought a quiet sense of elegance to the runway without overpowering the garments themselves.

Everything was approached with restraint, softness and intention. Nothing forced, nothing excessive, just a balance between refinement and imperfection that felt true to the spirit of COMPOSE.

A collection exploring composition, transformation, and refinement through layering, softness, and reconfigured archival silhouettes.

Designed to shift and recompose around the body through wrap layers, suspended forms, transparency, and modular construction.
