me and my best friend, the love of my entire life! 💍🤍 almost 4 years married. thank you to @kristin.mariephotography for being such a talented photographer and also a sweet friend. ✨ by @karolinkajane
two years of selah & bloom photo co 🤎 which feels UNBELIEVABLE! im also a week late posting which is so on brand for me lol iykyk so thankful for everyone who has supported me through this process, through this business. in all its highs and lows, i am forever thankful to have a career where my mission is to preserve irreplaceable moments and memories for others!! to be trusted with something so meaningful isn’t something i take lightly & all Glory to God bc without Him none of this would be possible. ✨ without my husbands push to jump into this, without my family and friends encouraging me, never would i have had the strength to keep going. to make everyone proud. & without yall, my supporters, my clients, anyone who has EVER believed in me, this wouldn’t be possible without you either. thank you guys so much and believe me when I say i love you🥹 here we are <3 two years later, so so many to go 🥂 📸: @trystakerekes.photography definition of THAT GIIIRLLL edited by meee ✨ 💄: @facesbykaitlyn by @karolinkajane
now (re)introducing to you, selah & bloom photo co 🤎🎞️ hi guys 🥹 it is my MOST absolute pleasure to share my new brand and identity. if you’d ask me, what does selah & bloom even mean? here’s what i would say: selah & bloom is more than a business, it’s a ministry. where God brings me to others, to not only see where they are at, but to capture them and their families in a way that honors their stories, and honors the gift that the Lord has given me. “selah” comes from scripture. it’s often used in psalms as a reminder to pause & reflect. that is exactly what i do for everyone who trusts me with this passion. the industry revolves around seeing moments for what they truly are, nurturing that story exactly where it is, and for what it could become. “bloom” is what happens after… time after time i see what God has given me draw people closer. growing in their love for one another. seeing their story from the outside looking in. a perspective that really colors their stories for what they are. evidence of His Grace. truly, i did not pick up a camera and expect to make a business from it. God allowed my work to prosper LONG before i even trusted in my abilities.. He made this happen. ALL glory to God, none of this is possible without Him. the money, the success… it’s all fleeting. but His Love endures forever. i pray that the Lord continues to use me in a way that instills a movement in others to see His goodness and His grace every day of our lives. xoxo, karolinka jane 🤎 ps: PLEASE drop your jaws along side me as you gander at the AMAZING brand and design that @ladyb.creative created for me. the process was not only so amazing but it taught me so much about myself and the business i want to run. seeing my vision, put on paper. so so humbling and so so perfect. thank you to seana, who worked so intently on creating something that reflected me SO well, and being so so patient in the process. thank you from the bottom of my heart <3 also huge s/o to @kaylagriffin.photo for taking these last minute for me. she killed it too 😩😩🤎🤎🤎 by @karolinkajane

it has been four beautiful years. 💐 four years since i heard your first cry, four years since your fingers first curled around mine. four years since you opened your eyes , and four years since i met you for the first time. it has been four years since you arrived, but i have been your mother for far longer. long before your heartbeat echoed beneath mine, before you were nestled within my womb, everything i was belonged to you. before your name was ever known, before your body became my own, God created you and somehow too, He made me brand new, when He made you. i can never promise to be the best, or always understand God’s hand. but I will hold you close to Him as best I can, and guide you through the rest. happy birthday to my sweet baby girl 🤎 we love you! pc: @pier99.photography - thank you for these from the bottom of my heart edited by: @selahxbloom by @karolinkajane

my boy is TWO silly 🪿🤎 isn’t he the sweetest?? seriously though; ever since both of my babies first birthdays - every one has been after i became a photographer. you can definitely see the skill improve drastically since my sons first 🥹 i linked it below if you haven’t seen it yet! such a fun benefit, don’t you think?? by @karolinkajane
to my son, i don’t have enough words to capture the joy of being your mother. from the very beginning you’ve amazed me. your first steps, your first laugh, the way your little hands reached out for me. time is slippery, it runs through my fingers faster than i can catch it, and i never understood just how fleeting it was until i became a mom. you are a perfect reflection of love itself, growing and changing before my eyes. you went from a baby who couldn’t hold his head up to a little boy with a will so strong it makes me want to pull my hair out sometimes. after your sister, i didn’t know if it was possible for another little soul to carry just as much spark, just as much personality. but oh, was i wrong. you are fire and laughter and sweetness all wrapped into one. today you turn two. i can see every moment we’ve shared flashing past like a reel in my heart. another year of being your mama has come and gone too quickly, but how thankful i am for another year to love you, to teach you, to watch you grow. happy birthday, my boy. you are more than i ever dreamed of, more than I could have ever prayed for. i love you. 🤎🪿 - mommy by @karolinkajane
happy FIRST birthday to Selah + Bloom Photo & Co! 💐🎞️🤎 07.28.24 - a year since a dream became my reality. fully licensed, fully dedicated, fully thankful. one whole year of showing up scared but still showing up. of jumping head first into a confusing new world, starting from nothing. to creating with everything i’ve got, meeting the most incredible people, traveling to places that made my heart ache in the best way, and learning more than i ever thought i would. not just about photography, but about myself. honestly, i still wrestle with this feeling of being an imposter almost daily. i question if i’m good enough, if this dream is too big, too bold. i think about the people who know me or knew me. do they judge me? do they think i will fail? why don’t they support me? but it’s just noise, i keep going - i push forward. God has made it clear that this is not a fleeting moment. this is not just a dream built off a whim. and because my husband, the very FIRST person who believed i could do this, never stopped believing in me, even when i didn’t have it in me to believe in myself. selah means to pause and reflect. and sheesh - what a moment to reflect on. this lil old business has bloomed into something so deeply meaningful, and i’m just so grateful. to every single client, supporter, friend, and cheerleader .. thank you. your trust and encouragement breathe life into this work. shows me i have someone to show up for. so thank you. special s/o to @pier99.photography for being an amazing associate and friend. she always knows exactly how to capture me, thank you aubwee for loving me just the way i am and for being one of my BIGGEST supporters. ily <3 and a HUGE thanks to @wonderland_photo_studios for being the most beautiful and versatile studio space i’ve ever used. after a year, i’ve come to love every inch of it — and every person in it. claire and her team create such a warm, welcoming space where creatives can truly be themselves and bring their visions to life. so thankful for y’all! here’s to year one. to more growth, more grace, and more Lord willing, more photography. 🤍 by @karolinkajane
