now (re)introducing to you, selah & bloom photo co 🤎🎞️ hi guys 🥹 it is my MOST absolute pleasure to share my new brand and identity. if you’d ask me, what does selah & bloom even mean? here’s what i would say: selah & bloom is more than a business, it’s a ministry. where God brings me to others, to not only see where they are at, but to capture them and their families in a way that honors their stories, and honors the gift that the Lord has given me. “selah” comes from scripture. it’s often used in psalms as a reminder to pause & reflect. that is exactly what i do for everyone who trusts me with this passion. the industry revolves around seeing moments for what they truly are, nurturing that story exactly where it is, and for what it could become. “bloom” is what happens after… time after time i see what God has given me draw people closer. growing in their love for one another. seeing their story from the outside looking in. a perspective that really colors their stories for what they are. evidence of His Grace. truly, i did not pick up a camera and expect to make a business from it. God allowed my work to prosper LONG before i even trusted in my abilities.. He made this happen. ALL glory to God, none of this is possible without Him. the money, the success… it’s all fleeting. but His Love endures forever. i pray that the Lord continues to use me in a way that instills a movement in others to see His goodness and His grace every day of our lives. xoxo, karolinka jane 🤎 ps: PLEASE drop your jaws along side me as you gander at the AMAZING brand and design that @ladyb.creative created for me. the process was not only so amazing but it taught me so much about myself and the business i want to run. seeing my vision, put on paper. so so humbling and so so perfect. thank you to seana, who worked so intently on creating something that reflected me SO well, and being so so patient in the process. thank you from the bottom of my heart <3 also huge s/o to @kaylagriffin.photo for taking these last minute for me. she killed it too 😩😩🤎🤎🤎 by @selahxbloom

PLSSS - yesterday was the most stunning wedding .. cannot wait to share from such a beautiful day. cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Macias! 🥂 @kaleigh.shea thank you so much for an unforgettable night & trusting me with one of the many important roles on your wedding day. we’ve come a long way since 7th grade and it truly brought me joy to capture your love story. cannot wait to sit down and edit EVERY photo 🤎 (& any wedding day I get to have my girl @pier99.photography assist me, is a fun day indeed🎉) by @selahxbloom
everyone has a different style of photography - but I firmly believe all photography should make you feel SOMETHING. at least for me, i want all my clients, everyone who trusts me to capture their memories, not only to relive those moments when they finally receive their galleries, but i want them to remember the exact emotions they felt during those fleeting sessions of time together. 🤎 this maternity gallery with the jones’ makes me feel.. love, unity and nostalgia. this session was a beautiful time they got to share together, alone. the “just us” feelings, before they welcomed their sweet baby boy a short few months later. ✨ do you think all photography should instill emotions? by @selahxbloom
ahhh almost another year ending! 🤎 the countless opportunities this job has given me is so so special, im forever grateful. a job full of creativity that still allows me the flexibility of being a mommy.. the most precious combination. thankful to my husband who encouraged me beyond everyone, and to God who continued to bless my business and allow it to grow. a big thank you to YOU ALL. for making this dream even possible. literally love yall 🥹 by @selahxbloom

the kyle’s pt II 🎞️💐 yall… THE GINORMOUS HOLE THIS SESSION HAS BURNED INTO MY PHONE WAITING TO BE POSTED 😫 like COME ON! are they not the sweetest little family? this is what my job is all about, capturing people that love each other so so deeply. so thankful the kyles chose me for the SECOND year in a row to do their yearly family photos <3 will forever be grateful for their trust in me and in my art. fun fact: i always offer the option to upgrade and purchase the entire gallery if you love everything and can’t decide on which downloads you’d like - well ki’ana bought the entire gallery BEFORE I EVEN DELIVERED IT. she has so much faith in my work that she bought all of the images without ever seeing them. THAT is inspiring 🤎 and so so humbling. @scrlgallery #scrl #scrlgallery by @selahxbloom
