100 years of Lake Florida ❗️❗️❗️

My grandparents started coming to Lake Florida when my grandma was pregnant with my mom.
[Explained by the queen herself one minute in !!]

Nothing about the resort has changed since I’ve been old enough to remember. Still no service and same old movie room VHS tapes. Same one dollar bills from grandma to spend at the candy store. Same fake microphone used at pizza night. Same week of every year.

This man had a birthday a few days ago.
Carter plans fun dates for me because he knows I think a dinner date is boring. Then when we get a gift card to a nice restaurant I’m reminded of how fun it is, but mainly because I’m with him. And since it’s “free” we get whatever we want.. always coffee and dessert and pretend we are somewhere in Europe. Carter even came up with the idea to have designated “service” dates where we do something for someone else instead of ourselves.
Those are my favorite.
His heart is so pure, somehow even more the closer you get to it. Didnt even know that was possible??

I always thought when someone said “I have too much I could say so ill just say this…” was a cop out but if I keep going ill have to move this post to substack

The first time I listened to the band Thirdstory I was sitting on the end of a dock praying for the Lord to answer me and He did.
There began a journey of putting my hope in the Lord alone and from that would flow all of my joy.
One of the first conversations I had with Carter he shared about his hope in the Lord and the Lord alone.
In that moment I couldn’t put my hope in us but if I had to bet everything I had on that boy I would’ve. by @karrynpeterson

A minute to rest from your fast paced algorithm. It will bring you in if you let it.

For me, the new year starts in April.
Everything begins growing again.
Baby Karryn was born this month.
We’ve decided which resolutions to keep (and throw)

Holy Week and Easter being the first days of April have merged my reflections on physical and spiritual renewal this year, pouring into this video. Death to new life is the greatest gift!! Just thankful, that’s all by @karrynpeterson

This was written in a time of worship, singing in unity with others. A poem of what my soul felt while still on earth. How much greater the place of worship in heaven.

I used to think an eternity of worship sounded undesirable. How would that fulfill all my hearts desires?
Once I experienced the peace and unity that transcends, the deepest intimacy with the One who knows our every need, it became a place I never want to leave.

The hour before the assassination of Charlie Kirk.. that’s when I wrote these words on a sheet of paper.

I imagine through all the tragedy and heartbreak, Charlie experienced the feeling of arrival.
Unexplainable unless experienced. A mystery beyond comprehension.

The blood of a saint shed only fuels the Lord’s work. The truth of the gospel is a sharp sword. Truth and righteousness have the last word. by @karrynpeterson

Feels like yesterday there were two freshman girls thinking how lucky are we!!!

Never forget the first person you shared a room with from South Dakota was me. A title that Max will never be able to claim (he can have last roommate though). Thankfully we’ve come along way from that last slide otherwise he may not have claimed husband title either!!
