Yesterday I spent the day helping my friend DJ Jazzy at McAuliffe Middle School’s Field Day.

The music was bumpin, the sun was blazing, and the kids full of happy vibes.

What made it even more special was that every time I looked over at the DJ booth, I couldn’t help but think of my dad. I even helped lead the line dancing - my dad, also a DJ and “DI” and my dancing queen beautiful mama would have been so proud of me ♥️

Music was always part of their life, and seeing Jazzy playing the tunes behind the mixer and bringing joy to a crowd instantly brought back so many memories of them.

For a moment, it felt like a little reminder from heaven ♥️

Watching Grayson and his friends have fun while being reminded of my dad made the day feel extra meaningful.

A few years from now, Grayson won’t remember my school volunteer days.

But he’ll remember that I was there.

And honestly, so will I. 💛

The Friendship Bracelet Bead Bar is the first of our hands-on creative stations inside @makecollectives — a place to sit, relax, and make something meaningful with your hands.

Hey lovelies, you know what customers grab when they don’t know what they need?

this. 🌼 ✨

almost every time.

they’ll walk around the shop for a bit
pick things up
put them back
and then end up holding one of these

because it feels calming before you even light it

we wrap them with palo santo, flowers + clear quartz
so it’s not just about “cleansing energy”
it’s more like… resetting the room

or yourself 💖

sometimes I light one after a long day
sometimes before opening the shop
sometimes just because my brain feels LOUD

no ritual required
just a ❤️ pause

honestly one of my favorite gifts to give someone

in store + online.
