Ahhhh still beaming about being guest dj at the dreamy solstice dance with @ecstatica.uk last Friday.

✨ The night was so thoughtfully and beautifully considered and created.
✨Dancing together in the intimate space of @soma.h0me was soothing and uplifting!
✨ Loved getting to play a set that encapsulates the sounds and sensations of summer time ☀️
✨ Got to share the space with long term collaborator and amazing human @sashastarseedofferings ❤️
☀️Height of summer time vibes

Thanks for having me…. Excited for our next women’s full moon dance on 10th July @ecstaticdanceculture.ldn

🪩 Dance really is the natural state of embodiment. The body guides us. It leads the way.

🧠 In a world where the left side of the brain dominates, in dance the right side of the brain is fully engaged creating a beautiful interplay of spatial, emotional and creative brain functions.
🧠 Simply put dancing together creates a powerful neurological experience 💥

Oh how we love this embodied ecstatic practice! ❤️

🪩 And a big shout out to our team coming together to curate beautiful, fun and nourishing spaces to dance in.

A wonder inducing mix of light, sound and creativity! The UV paints 🎨 particularly went down a treat . Thanks @djartworks 🌕

Tune by our @tigerbalmmusic

Oh I do love a warm up. 🫶💃
That moment in time before the dance journey begins.
The opportunity to shake off the day, connect and be playful.
It is essential.
To get everybody moving, smiling and connecting.
And yes to our dancers for being ready for it.✨

Loved being back on the decks at our beloved EDC full moon women’s ecstatic dance. 🌕

Every dance has its own magic, rhythm and vibe.
The Harvest Moon felt like a warm autumnal hug 🍁, with moments to connect, go deep and high octane fun.🙃

We’re at our half way point before our next dance and can’t wait for :

27th October Azyre Blue ⚡️Alice Wild @azyre.blue and @theselfevolutioncoach
24th November @tigerbalmmusic 🐅 our resident and founder and our 2nd birthday partaaayy 🎂

See you on the dance floor
Kata, Rose and the EDC team

Such a pleasure to be invited back to @stories_supper for a morning of Play.
A local E17 charity bringing refugees, people seeking asylum and local residents together over food and stories.
Forgotten Fun bringing playful and embodied experiences to workplaces and communities.
To transform the energy, to shift the mood... play works everytime.
And of course the chickens came too...🐔🐔🐔 ( signature prop!)
Community + Play = Radical Joy
Thank you!
Love what you guys do and can’t wait for the next one!

Yay, our next women’s dance is just around the corner💜

Sept 24th
@andsoulsanctuary
7-9.30pm

💃💃💃

In just over a week we will be dancing again under the full moon. The Harvest Moon. The moon closest to the autumn equinox.

🌕 🌕🌕

We can’t wait…

And this Harvest Moon rises close to sunset which gives us that prolonged amber glow in the evenings.

It represents abundance and gratitude, as well as honouring the transitionary time where we move from the warmth and glow of summer into the darker cooler months. Or cosy season!

🍁🍂🍁

Always a good time to set intentions for the next season.

Together…on the dance floor

Our resident DJ Kata @kata_forgottenfun can’t wait to get back on the decks to create an uplifting set full of warmth and depth. Touching on the light and playing with some darker edges.

Just a little moment in the forest
The intention was a relaxed walk but that soon turned into a boogie.. (no suprises!)
Skipped round the trees in this beautiful sun drenched corner 🌳☀️
Danced for about ten minutes and felt energised ✨
Love the mixture of slow and mindful with fast and shaking it out.
Guess that’s why free form dance practices for me have always been 💥⚡️🫶
No steps just improvised messy human ness with no need to look good on any level😍🤗💃
One week until my fave day of the month, our women’s full moon dance 🪩 🌕
Eek can’t wait

Some reflections after another wondrous workshop with @thefunfed 🤗 last night

Fun isn’t frivolous … it’s FUNdamental

and it’s medicine 😊

Play is the access point to our rested and socially connected nervous system state ( ventral vegal)

It does it very well 💥🤗

It’s a natural state 🌱

Our biology doing what it’s meant to do 🧠

Play and creativity as a priority is where I want to see us move to …. 💡

This is what we do at Forgotten Fun.
