🌬️Chicago @junior.ppa ✅✌🏽 earned some hardware, but to be honest-not super proud of the way I played. Did I have a blast? YES! But all I could take away is that I need to work smarter. If you’ve ever left a tournament fixated on mistakes, even though you won, please let me know how you deal!?!!🥴

-14U Girls Doubles w/ @centersky.pb and we came in 5th…we were battling against some of the best and kept our energy high, that’s a W! Thank you @junior.ppa for recognizing our 🥈 in 12U Girls.

-12U Mixed w/ @derekpickleball & earned 🥉! After losing our first game we battled through the back draw to come out with some hardware. Proud of how we fought, let’s run it back in Virginia☺️

Had so much fun battling in Vegas!

♠️Doubles🥈 w/ @alinatorres2014 was so much fun! Our first time together and definitely not our last, you were amazing! Can’t wait to run it back!

♣️Mixed w/ @bertmupb …. Always enjoy sharing the court with you! No hardware but our teamwork and energy was great!

Arizona Junior PPA Recap✨

Spent the week in AZ training hard & having so much fun in the pool & on the court. Shoutout to @hypesolpickleball for the reps!

Doubles w/ Freyja, this was her first JuniorPPA & she played awesome! I remember my first Junior PPA & I’m just grateful that this sport is growing in the Junior world! Keep cookin Queen!

Mixed w/ @pickle.pak 👏🏽 thanks for being solid and battling out there with me…both games were so close, we’ll get em next time!

North Carolina, you were so much fun! I am proud of the way I played…no hardware-but I felt so good out on those courts. Great job to all my competitors 👏🏽

9 games…overall record 5-4!
Grateful we won any games at all in that blazing heat. Thanks @bertmupb for being a solid partner and battling out there with me🫡

Lots of lessons learned and GROWTH happening…would I recommend another @capickleball tournament? Sure, maybe. But they flipped a coin to decide what the score would be when our opponents decided we had 3 points instead of 5…soooo maybe rethink that sort of judgement call?!?! (We in fact had 5 after footage review)

Anyways! For our 2nd time competing in 4.5 mixed and coming away with 5 wins, I’ll take those W’s any day at 11 years old! 🤪 by @katarynamisini.pb

First time ever playing all THREE divisions at 4.5 at Pickletopia!

Singles didn’t go as well as I hoped, but I learned a lot from it. I definitely need to work out more and keep improving my footwork. One big difference between 4.0 and 4.5 is that there are a lot of shots you don’t expect people to get back at 4.0… but somehow, they ALL come back at 4.5! 😅

So I need to stay more engaged and ready for every single ball.

For 4.5 Men’s Doubles, I got to play with Yaseen Kady again. This was our second 4.5 tournament together, and we did great! We played almost six hours in the heat and played a total of 10 games. We lost the bronze match 8–11.

No podium this time, but our teamwork was way better. And honestly, we lost that last game more because of our own mistakes than because of our opponents. I still have a lot of skills to improve, especially consistency. But even more importantly, I need to learn how to adjust faster when I start feeling fatigued.

For 4.5 Mixed Doubles, this was my first tournament playing with @katarynamisini.pb Thank you, Kat! I’m really happy that we got to start this 4.5 mixed doubles journey together. We did way better than we expected and finished 1-5! 🥇🥈🥉

That was a surprise success for our first time playing together! 😄
