12 years ago today I was getting ready to say I do to the most incredible man. We'd been together since we were 18 years old, gone through a long distance relationship, 8 months of living apart writing to each other every day, health issues, huge life changes, moving in together before saying those tiny two words that meant the world. Not once did I wonder if he was the right man for me that day. He has a habit of making me feel safe and loved and can read me like a book 🙈 Sometimes he even knows I'm stressed before I do 🤣 We've faced a lot of challenges throughout our relationship but no matter what we've stuck together and seen it through, the good and the bad. There's no one else I'd rather have by my side even if he does drive me crazy most days and always wants a cup of tea 🤪❤️ by @kate_finch_author

Wish I was back here! Preferably not being watched by a st@lker but that spot would be perfect 🫣 Tell me you have a dark mind without telling me you have a dark mind 🙃 Just a new setting for my Thriller which I promise I will eventually finish writing! #authorproblems #peaceful #cornwall #writing #notwriting by @kate_finch_author

Found this gorgeous little spot yesterday so came back to do some writing and hopefully not get murd3red (please tell me other writing brains go there too 🫣) Husband decided to take the kids to the zoo so I was allowed to do whatever I fancied and this was it! Banana ice cream from the gorgeous traditional Cornish ice cream parlour and writing on the beach 🥰 perfect ❤️#authorcommunity #bude #favouriteplace #beach #peaceful by @kate_finch_author

This book was recommended to me by a friend and I will be thanking her forever 🤣🙌🏼
This was my first time reading one of @navessa.allen books and I can already say I'm a fan! Lights Out was the perfect combination of sexy, tense, shock and laughter throughout and I couldn't put it down!
Aly was such a heroine, a tough yet kind character who has a troubled past and constantly forgetting to take care of herself. She's feisty, doesn't put up with sh*t yet loves a bit of fear in the dark.
Josh is a spicy, friggin adorable hero with a dark side and a cruel past that Navessa writes so perfectly that you can really dive into why he is the way he is, especially with his inner thoughts.
The storyline was great and unexpected from someone who normally sees it coming! The characters were perfection and I can't wait to read the next one!
Thank you for spicing up the mumma's conversation on the school run and of course giving an extra boost to the mask k*nk 😜🤣

Wow! I didn't realise how MIA I was until I looked at my last post in August 😳
So I'm reposting an oldie! I'm sorry it's been a few months of chaos and life but I actually managed to do a little writing yesterday for the first time in forever (wooo!)
I hope everyone is having a beautiful December!!

Oh what a night!
This was my first time going to an @inkhartevents and it didn't disappoint!!! The Pandemonium (Shadow Hunters series) event was perfection!
Firstly, the atmosphere was incredible! @duckandtipplebasingstoke know how to make you feel safe with their fabulous bouncer (who goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is ok and having a lovely time) their wonderful staff who made sure we enjoyed our drinks (which btw were perfectly made, tasty as hell and strong enough to have me dancing at number two 🤣) and the food (omg! It came out baking hot and sooooooo yummy!!)

Now onto Inkhart events! Wow.... Just wow! The cosplay were amazing, there were themed cocktails, demons, Shadow Hunters, warlocks and faeries, beautiful singing, hot entertainment (I'll post the very talented fire dancer in my next post) bookmark making (got myself a gorgeous dragon sword), painting (@josieellen26 could've spent all night there!) jewellery, prints and so many runes! Plus a fancy dress competition with a brilliant well deserved prize to the winner whose outfit was insanely talented!
A huge thank you to the hostess who made us feel so welcome and involved, we loved it and can't wait to come back again!!

Wellll... @victoriousfestival there are no words for what we experienced over the past few days 🫣🤣
Firstly The Rosadocs were amazing for our first band at the festival and they made my husband's day when they had a selfie with him! He was a little bit tipsy already after going for the 4 cans deal not realising they open the cans as they hand them to you so he 'had' to drink them pretty quickly🫣🤣 He almost walked straight past the band before having a chat with them 🤣
We had a picnic blanket to chill on and all was going well until that somehow disappeared (I blame him, he blames me... Honestly we'd used it for less than an hour🤣) but the fish and chips made up for it!
I didn't realise how big the festival was, so easily managed to walk over 10miles that day which is a lot for these little legs!
The music was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect and there was no drama! Well... Apart from one lovely lady who thought hubby was proposing (he got down on one knee to sit down for food 🙈) she started screaming with excitement before I had to tell her it was actually our 11 year wedding anniversary that day... So she made him reinact proposing to me instead and somehow managed to knock my pulled pork and chips out of my hand at the same time 🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣 I was crying with laughter, she was almost crying 🙈 She was lovely and there were so many nice people around, it was a great atmosphere.
We ended both nights on a high, struggling to walk back to our hotel (not because we were drunk but because our feet were hurting so much 🤣) but it was perfect!
Hope everyone else has a lovely #bankholidayweekend

Alcohol for the hen do🙈 Themed cocktails!!
We had Frozen, babies, blood bags, ACOTAR (omg so sparkly) potions, angel delight and vodka jelly shots, white chocolate and peach archers shots plus soooo much more 🫣 honestly I'm a lightweight as it is and I refused to get up from my seat for some time because I knew I'd be crawling instead 🤣🤣

Sorry! I have been major MIA for some time! But the summer holidays are here and I have been a busy bee looking after the munchkins, planning a hen do for my beautiful cousin and visiting my gorgeous nephew!
For the hen do we had themed platters! Of course mine was Halloween and I couldn't resist sharing some of the photos 🙈
I made chocolate brownie mud for the coffin, bought coconut donut things (I have no clue but they tasted good 🤷🏼‍♀️) for the spiders eggs, alien crisps, found an awesome glass for the eyeball lollies, blood jelly, ghost strawberries, toxic skull sweets (jeez they weren't fun 🤣) blood bags for the super strong cocktail (I don't measure these things) and spent AGES filling up the blood bags using a tiny squeezy thing for medicine 🙈🤣 her sister looked at me like I'd lost the plot! I had ...
More pics to come for the rest of the food and cocktails but what a fun time! Can anyone tell I'm ready for Halloween?
