•notes from my diary•

There is love and then there is destruction and if these ashes prove anything it’s that we only know how to burn ourselves down. How many times can I write about the same thing before it becomes a plagiarism of my own ache? Ridiculous, isn’t it? Like clockwork, I come back to him, his eyes, his smile, the ringing noise of his laugh, the way he walks- some kind of magnetism; okay, this is cliche, but so is everything else I say about him. It’s tiresome yet I have gotten to remembering this feeling by heart. Even two years after the quake, I get the aftershocks when he looks at me.

“You smile and I forget how it feels to be on solid ground.”

//you smile and i forget what it’s like to be anything but yours//

“Disha? Haven’t you heard? God is dead and the angels have moved on.”

I don’t know if he really says it but it’s almost like a prayer.

Almost like a lie.

A MUST READ! As a lover of paranormal romance and vampire-lore, from Anne Rice to Bram Stoker, I found ROSE FROM THE DARKNESS by Kate Finch so much more than just another vampire book. The great-paced novel, a scene set in a British town, where friends not only find themselves separated, but prey. Rosemary, the main character, finds her life turned upside down when she encounters an alluring stranger.
Author Kate Finch, an amazing storyteller, has done a superb job of creating characters you will love, painting vivid scenes in which will keep you on edge. Between seduction, darkness, many plot twists, believable and well-developed characters, this story will not disappoint! 👏
