From the Archives !!! 28 years ago, I walked in the door to the Odeon, asked for a job, saw Andrew for the first time, LIGHTENING STRUCK, I was stunned, we worked a catering job at Henri Bendel together, we fell in love on the spot, talked into the night about our dreams of creating a community together that eventually migrates to the Mediterranean, and Presto! Here we are so many years later - we haven’t started the community in the Med yet, but it’s fun to still have so much to dream of and create together. Fun time last week supporting @ltgovflanagan for Senate in MN, alongside some friends. Got surprise visits from @brad.lander and @rokhannausa.

This fall is gonna take everything we got - and there are some great candidates out there who need your support. I definitely have suggestions for where your dollars can be most useful, and Peggy is a real one who needs our support.

She grew up poor and openly talks about how food assistance saved her family. She supports paid family leave, Medicare for all, no funding for foreign wars, and advocates for affordability, fair pay, good working conditions, and more.

She’s also a member of the White Earth Nation and would become the first Indigenous woman ever to be elected to the US Senate!!!

I was shocked to find out that people close to me don’t know about #nolanwells or about what happened @cornelluniversity, I know that the lynchings of Black neighbors don’t end up on people’s feeds or on the news. I know I’m fumbling my words and probably getting some facts wrong - but Fascism isn’t going way unless we rise up together! by @katehuling419

Today was @ullajohnson Show ! It was Both a totally HEART FILLING, cup overflowing day - Brava @ullajohnson @aprilhughes1 @romyglow and also the heart break of the world was ever present. Sitting with two Lebanese American friends, an Iranian friend and a Ukrainian friend knowing that while IMMENSE beauty was all around us, that bombs are always falling on their friends, families and their ancient Homelands. My prayer is that we take inspiration from all the Beauty we see around us, and instead of turning away from the horror - we use our uplifted hearts to fight for Justice for All and Peace on Earth. by @katehuling419

This is all cat content because if you just saw the video of the tsunami of the river engulfing our human family in Nepal, seeing cats might make you feel a little comforted for a minute. And then Can I pls ask all of us - CAN WE PLEASE TAKE 50% of the energy that everyone is putting into their total Obsession with APPEARANCE - and put it into fighting fascism and climate collapse ? I hate to sound judgy - but I feel we are going off a cliff with the Injections and the red light masks and the vampire facials and the surgeries. We look Fine - No one cares about our wrinkle or our flab. @roman_tarlow and Kareem sent me their photos from Peru and I can’t stop looking at them ! They remind me of the truth about humanity and our Mother and Home. I hope you are constantly reminding yourself of who you really are, so you Never fall in their traps of terror and despair and compliance. We are Great. Our natural inclination is not Domination: it is Cherishing and Gratitude and Love ! Remember they are letting us see all of these atrocities because they WANT us paralyzed ! Let’s keep going - PachaMamma, the Apu, the Nũsta, Mama Kilia, Mama Chasqua, Tayta Inti, the Condor, the Puma, the Serpente - they are with us. 🌍

Nothing more exciting to me than the big kids wanting to come hang out! It’s the biggest thrill and I just drink up every moment. They are all so charming, talented and wonderful and I’ve just been saying it since they were born - THIS IS THE BEST TIME - this is IT ! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABIES !!! A year ago today we had the Incredible Privilege of welcoming 7 precious kittens into our world. It was the Gift of a life time getting to spend those days being bathed in sweetness and cuteness. As I reflect back on these moments I think about every human life, how precious and wonderful. Let’s cherish each and every life by reclaiming our power and toppling the system that says that some lives matter and others are disposable. Every Black Life Matters. Every Palestinian Life Matters. Every Arab, Trans, Queer, Differently Abled, Native, Jewish life is SO SO PRECIOUS ! by @katehuling419
