This past Tuesday, I got to go live with @adobelive to share a behind-the-scenes look at my SpookieVille October poster! 🎃

I’ve always loved everything about fall, the cozy weather, colorful leaves, pumpkins, and that magical feeling this time of year brings. I’m so excited I got to bring a little bit of that fall magic to life through this project! 🍁✨

What’s up everyone! I recently had the opportunity to work alongside @adobe on a commissioned project, collaborating with @thecreativepain to design a journal for the new Adobe Apprenticeship Program.

For this project, I was asked to explore the idea of creative flow. Creative flow is something deeply personal and very meaningful to me. Often, it begins with music, when I find the perfect setlist, I slip into a rhythm where ideas start to expand, questions turn into exploration, and creativity begins to move freely.

In the illustration for this journal, I wanted to visually capture that moment of entering a creative flow state. Elements throughout the piece represent parts of my creative process, from the tools I rely on every day, like the Pen Tool, to the energy of a disco ball symbolizing that “creative party mode” when everything starts clicking and ideas come to life, and even just a safe space to create.

Adobe has played a huge role in my creative journey. Beyond being powerful and reliable software, it has also become a community where I can connect with other creatives, share my work, and continue growing as a designer.

I am beyond greatful for the opportunity to contribute to a project that celebrates creativity and the next generation of designers. by @katelynwongdesign

She’s a graphic designer from LA sharing her experience on how she decided to become one. She shares her love of doing side quests, coffee, shells and meeting new people that inspire her work. She discusses how people around her have helped shape her work and hope that one day she can continue making impactful work. She shares her Mexican, Chinese background and how that influenced her. She’s worked on some some amazing projects such as @adobe creative apprenticeship program working alongside with Tyler Pate (@thecreativepain )and some amazing personal works such as the @adidas campaign, @freepeople , and tea and life! She continues to work hard and one day help tell people’s stories.

Seeing a glimpse of who she is and where she’s at now, we get to learn something new about her!
