It was another incredible night for CBU Design and @cbu.illustration at the 2026 ADDY Awards! Our students and faculty showed up strong and it was reflected in the results. They brought home 21 awards, including 8 of the 10 Golds, along with a special judges award that @jessicadesigns.studio received! HUGE congrats to all! #cbudesign #CAVAD

Diving deep into her culture, we get a glimpse of how her mind works, to be more thoughtful about the reason why something is the way it is than just the visual aspect. Being open-minded about the world around you shapes how you think.

From building a fun project for herself, she enjoys a fun drink whenever she needs to go around, she thought to herself what drink would she see herself drink thus leaf and life drink was born.

She’s a graphic designer from LA sharing her experience on how she decided to become one. She shares her love of doing side quests, coffee, shells and meeting new people that inspire her work. She discusses how people around her have helped shape her work and hope that one day she can continue making impactful work. She shares her Mexican, Chinese background and how that influenced her. She’s worked on some some amazing projects such as @adobe creative apprenticeship program working alongside with Tyler Pate (@thecreativepain )and some amazing personal works such as the @adidas campaign, @freepeople , and tea and life! She continues to work hard and one day help tell people’s stories.

Seeing a glimpse of who she is and where she’s at now, we get to learn something new about her!

I learned how impactful working with people is and seeing her work has been awesome.

to 2026, we heading to a year of abundance and growth. I’m actually rlly happy stepping into doing it.

the year that I polish my skills a bit more. starting something new on my own.

many collabs in the way of the making, soon I will announce them once I get it finalized, it’s very exciting.

2025 was a year of experimentation, this year is refining what I did and still trying new things.

2025 was a year to remember. gosh I did a lot. tbh it was one of the hardest yet most life changing year that I did.

I recently started @nowhere.bloc to interview creatives and their journey. (tbh idk where it will lead to, just that I’m having fun.) I learned I rlly like hearing people’s stories and documenting it for them to remember.

thank you to all my January interviewees for being the first to be interviewed for the community that I’m building and believing in my vision. 🫶 and finally putting it out there after months of planning and soon the launch party will happen.

experienced my first set, the music video is gonna be great and had an amazing production crew. hope to work again.

to all the people in my journey supporting me, getting to know you and many more adventures of crossing your path. I appreciate you. Thank you for being around and letting me get to know you.
