“Hi there! I’m Kate, wife and mother, owner of Kate Tandy Photography, based in Pennsylvania and always happy to travel. I have been in this beautiful industry since 2016, serving couples throughout their wedding prep and day.

I love walking alongside couples during this season, not just documenting your day, but honoring the sacred vocation you’re entering. Your wedding is more than an event; it’s a moment of real grace, and it’s a privilege to capture it.

I want you to feel joy throughout this process both through my presence and personality, and through the images I create for you. I also want you to feel a deep sense of peace in choosing an experienced photographer who understands and reveres the Mass.

There is something incredibly special about being surrounded by a community that cherishes the beauty and sacredness of the Sacrament of Marriage. 💍🤍

I’m so excited to share that I’ve officially joined The Catholic Bridal Collective, a wonderful community of faith-filled wedding professionals dedicated to serving couples with Christ at the center of their work.

When I began Kate Tandy Photography, my heart was set on one mission: serving couples who desire to glorify God through their marriage. Every wedding I photograph is more than a celebration—it’s a reflection of God’s love, grace, and faithfulness woven into a unique love story.

Joining The Catholic Bridal Collective feels like finding a community that shares those same values. It’s a place where faith, beauty, and vocation come together, and I’m honored to be a part of it. Hi friends! I’ve noticed some new friends around here so wanted to introduce myself. 🙋‍♀️I am always curious about the face behind an Instagram account so thought I’d share mine.

I’m Kate, a Chester County PA based wedding photographer. If you’re seeking light , airy, colorful and bright photos that capture your true personality - I'm your girl! I love working with fun, laid-back brides and I can always get your little ones giggling for family sessions!

- I’m a wife and mother to 3 beautiful blonde haired babies. We recently sold our home in the lively , fun town of Kennett Square borough. We raised 3 kids there and to be honest it was hard to let go of our first home and leaving town living, with all the familiar faces. But we’re loving the quiet life now closer to the country and friends.
- I was homeschooled and currently homeschool my kids. Community is a necessity when doing so!
- I started my photography business back in 2013. I skipped the college route and bought myself a camera and a car instead. I started out thinking I’d only want to photograph newborns and families, but fell in love with weddings and days spent with couples and their family and friends. Since then I’ve brought my husband Joe into the business and he is my second shooter on wedding days.
- My kitchen counter is my office. No kidding. I look forward to my daily editing time, and the location has *lots* to do with it. It's a sacred space. It’s the center of our home and where we spend most of our time.
- I start my mornings with a nice sweaty strength workout with @nourishmovelove followed by a large coffee mug in my hand and my Bible in my lap.
- I'm what I call an "intro-extra-vert" a.k.a. I love my alone time but people and community fill my cup!
- Growing up, I wanted to be a singer and was inspired by Taylor swift. I wrote my own songs and even recorded some. I’ve since then settled with singing Taylor’s songs in the car with my kids.
- This hidden gem where we took these photos holds a special place in our hearts. It’s where we took our wedding photos and where we went for walks when we were engaged. It’s still my favorite place to take photos with clients. taken in Valley Garden Park by @katetandyphotography

HELLO October!! 🍁I’m so ready for the rhythm of the Fall to start. September was a whirlwind of events: traveling to 4 southern states in 18 days, attending my brother’s wedding, being present for my sister’s birth, and exploring Nashville. I’m feeling Fall hitting and it’s the reset we need. Looking forward to the Fall Session grind. 🍂🍁
