✨Highlight of 2025✨

Back in early May I had an *important* birthday to celebrate and my best friends surprised me with the weekend of a lifetime. My husband @jfree41 and my wife @jessfreedmanvox planned the most incredible #brat birthday weekend that will live in my mind forever. Thank you both for making my heart explode with your effort, creativity, fun, & love. I LOVE you 💚

This best friend group has been my lifeline for 20+ years. There is nothing that compares to when we are all together, acting like fools, laughing, crying, and loving one another. When I think about how lucky we are to have found each other in this life, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the entire world.

2025 was a strange but beautifully transformative year for me. I struggled deeply with self-worth, feeling stuck, feeling lost and like I was behind everyone else, still trying to figure life out even at this age. At the same time I overcame some of the biggest hurdles I have ever faced, broke bad cycles on & habits, and reconnected with one of the deepest and truest parts of myself - my voice. I learned how to love her again, how to support and nurture her, and remembered that she is special and beautiful. I felt so distant from my voice for so long, and it has been this year’s greatest gift to feel positive and clear-headed about this part of myself again.

Throughout this year my friends have been everything - challenging me and keeping me accountable in ways that I don’t think even they are aware of. As I look back on 2025, and ahead at 2026 with all the changes that will inevitably take place, I feel evermore grateful that we had this perfect weekend together 💜

Happy One Year Anniversary to Fire Emblem Engage! It was a huge dream come true to record the main theme for the end credits of the game with the incredible @gregchunva ! This was probably one of my favorite sessions that I’ve ever done. Thank you Greg for being the best vocal director ever, and everyone from @nintendoamerica for being so awesome. I can’t let the holiday season end without immortalizing this unforgettable moment on IG. This Christmas I unlocked a new achievement by being a naked caroler on #nightcourt on @nbc with the amazing @michaelmaxkohl @reneruizvoice and Holly Pitrago! It was an unbelievably fun few days, and the costume department made sure we felt comfy and WARM the whole time. Happy (belated) Birthday to my bestie @jessfreedmanvox 💕 I am so excited for what the next year has in store for you. I can’t wait to try and meet the (incredibly) high bar that you set for me when we did this wedding thing the last time. But you know I love a challenge! And what a wedding it will be! There will of course be things that you later regret, like my side bangs pictured here, but I know that it will be truly perfect and FUN and we won’t want it to end. I love you. Thank you sweet friends for the bday wishes 🎉 As I always say every year, birthdays are weird. But this year I felt more grounded like a true Taurus ♉️ thank you #therapy 🙏🏼 and thank you to my sweet friends, my HUBS, my family, and my amazing students (ILYSM) for making this bday one I will remember for a reason I don’t fully understand yet.
