Apparently, “What do you do?” requires a longer answer than it used to.

There’s the business, the sound baths, the planning, the messages… and a whole life happening in between.

I love what I do. I also love taking my shoes off, forgetting where my phone is and having absolutely nothing planned.

So if you’re waiting for a reply, I’m probably busy in one of my other roles. Or looking for my phone. 😂

There’s always something that needs your attention. This hour is yours. 🤎

Join me for a Sunday Sound Bath at Eastcote House Gardens. Bring your mat and blanket, get comfortable and close your eyes.

For the next hour, there’s nothing you need to organise or catch up on. I’ll take care of the sound, and you can simply rest.

Come on your own or invite someone you’d love to share a quiet Sunday morning with.

When you’re used to being the one everyone relies on, taking an hour for yourself can feel unfamiliar.

You might lie down and remember something you forgot to do. Think about who needs you. Start planning the rest of the day.

You can bring all of that with you.

At our Sunday Sound Bath, there’s no need to arrive with a quiet mind. Get comfortable under your blanket and listen. When your thoughts wander, the sounds are there to return to.

I’ll be waiting with the bowls. 🤎

11 October is fully booked. Thank you to everyone joining me. 🤎

You can now reserve your place for Sunday 18 October.

As autumn settles in, it’s easy to spend the whole weekend at home. Having a session booked can give you a reason to head out, take a walk and enjoy some fresh air before wrapping yourself in a blanket and resting with the sounds of the bowls.

We meet every Sunday, and spaces sell out quickly. Book ahead, especially if you have a particular date in mind.

If you’d like to come regularly, you can book four sessions. Having those dates in your calendar can help you keep some time for yourself - even on mornings when you’d rather stay on the sofa.

Could this be your way to end the week? With an hour to rest and unwind, ready to begin the next one with a calmer mind.

✨ Next available session: Sunday 18 October · 10:45
✨ Eastcote House Gardens
✨ Bring a mat and a warm blanket. No experience needed.

Consider this your sign to rest. 🤎

What I love most about holding sound baths is that everyone walks in having had a different kind of day.

Some come feeling tired, others out of curiosity. Sometimes with a busy mind or unsure what to expect.

You don’t need to feel a certain way. You can simply come, get comfortable and listen.

I’ll be here with the bowls.

As the autumn evenings draw in, I find myself wanting to curl up under a blanket and slow down for a while. Maybe you do too? 🍂

Send this to someone you’d love to share a quiet hour with.

How many times have you said “maybe one day” about something you really wanted?

I’ve done it too. Waited to feel ready. Found sensible reasons to put it off. Told myself I’d come back to it when the timing was better.

I’m learning to give those wishes a little more room — and take one small step before I talk myself out of it again.

What’s something you’d like to give yourself a chance to try? 🤍

What if your next team gathering sounded like this? 🤍

This private sound bath brought a group of teachers together for an hour of sound, candlelight and time to pause.

Crystal singing bowls and a gong filled the space while everyone settled in to listen.

If you’re planning a wellbeing session for your team, or a private gathering with friends, I’d love to help you create a moment like this.

Send me a message with your group size and the occasion, and we can talk about your private sound bath.

You haven’t heard this sound with us before. 🤍

My new crystal singing bowls have arrived, and soon they’ll become part of our Sunday sound bath at Eastcote House Gardens.

I’ve been getting to know each bowl — listening to the way its tone grows, shifts and lingers. My favourite moment is just after the bowl stops singing, when the sound is almost gone but I’m still following it.

If you’ve been curious about a crystal bowl sound bath or sound meditation, I’d love to share that moment with you in person. Join me in Eastcote, near Pinner, for an hour to lie down, listen and slow down. ✨

Have you ever heard crystal singing bowls live? Tell me in the comments. 🤍

We live surrounded by stimulation.

So when everything suddenly becomes quiet, the mind doesn’t necessarily become quiet with it. Sometimes, that’s when we realise just how busy it has been.
And that’s one reason meditation in complete silence can feel difficult for some people. We try to “stop thinking”, and the harder we try, the more we seem to notice every thought.

But meditation doesn’t require an empty mind.

It can simply mean bringing your attention back to what is happening right now.
And this is where sound can become an anchor for your attention.

During a sound bath, you don’t have to force your mind into silence. You can allow your attention to follow the sound - its vibration, changing tones and the spaces between one sound and the next.

For some people, this may make it easier to settle into a meditative state of attention and deep relaxation.

Research on meditation shows that meditative states can be accompanied by changes in patterns of brain activity, while early research on singing bowls has also observed EEG changes associated with relaxation.

That doesn’t mean singing bowls automatically “switch” the brain to a particular frequency - this is still an emerging area of research.

So perhaps meditation doesn’t always have to begin with silence.

Sometimes, it can begin with listening. 🤎
