🎉PRINT GIVEAWAY 🎉 details below.
An artist popped up in my feed this morning, talking about why she doesn’t sell prints of her work, and how she disagrees with the idea for various reasons.
I just love that we can all have our own opinions! 🤍
Because I’ve found prints to be a wonderful addition to my originals. They are high quality, accessible, affordable, and truly look amazing on the wall once framed and hung.

I’m not making prints of every original I create, rather it’s a very small percentage, maybe 1 or 2 a year. I’ve also learned to be open about advertising the potential of prints when marketing the original - something along the lines of “this original piece is a favorite, and may someday be sold as prints.” Just so there are no surprises.

My creativity waxes and wanes throughout the year, like I’ll have huge bursts of original work, and then nothing wants to come out for a while ;)
So it’s a gift to have orders coming in regardless of my production level. And my prints now account for more income than my originals, so I see them as a huge blessing!

I don’t THINK prints have reduced the value of my work in any way. That said, I don’t have aspirations of becoming the next Monet or Picasso. I just really enjoy the process of creating pretty things, while also being able to pitch in on tuition ;)

🎉 so! Let’s do a giveaway to celebrate my joy for prints - - -
for all print orders placed between now and Sunday 9/27 night, I will select 2 orders to refund entirely. It doesn’t matter which print or what size or where it’s going, or if we have 200 orders or only 2 - I’ll just ask AI to pull 2 from the list on Monday morning, and will contact you via email to let you know your print will be free. So if you’ve been considering a high quality archival print for your space, now’s probably a good time to pull the trigger 😊
Reach out with any questions.

Friday is here!
And “My Cup Overfloweth” is too ;)
Large at 48”x60,” but subtle enough to not overwhelm the wall.
