Set high above The Woodlands, @1rivarow is home for the moment while our personal renovation is underway.

Proof that you don’t need more square footage to make a space feel like home. Especially when The Woodlands Waterway is your backyard.

2/2 After a fast trip to Costco, I guess I was not in the greatest place to draw but I still enjoyed it. Thanks to Chloe and our fabulous models from Around The world. @ drawingisfree_org One song one pose.

A few or painted without any under drawing or next to none.

Used my 6x9” superaquabee tablet today. Great paper.

The casual wing of this home called for a powder room with a little more play. Three towels for three children, plenty of pattern for everyone, a mirror custom framed to get the size (and turquoise) just right, and sconce shades made in a fabric we chose especially for the space.

Sometimes the spaces that challenge you the most end up becoming your favorites.

Between the awkward ceiling angles and debating whether to wallpaper just the walls or commit to the ceiling, we spent more time on this room than we’d like to admit.

In the end, we decided to stop fighting the architecture and lean into it. We wrapped the entire room in wallpaper, embraced every angle, and it completely transformed the space.

Now? It’s one of the coolest rooms in the house—and proof that sometimes the biggest design risks have the biggest payoff.

Spring is in full bloom in Atlanta 🌿

Sunlit days, open windows, and the shift into warmer, slower months ahead. A space designed for soaking it all in.

This kitchen was a complete renovation designed around our client’s love of color and practical living. From the green cabinetry to oversized lighting, abundant storage, and carefully considered seating, every decision was made to create a space that’s both beautiful and fully functional.

What was once a closed-off dining room with a narrow, awkward passage to the kitchen is now a quiet, inviting sitting room that draws you in. By flipping the front-of-house layout to align the dining room with the new kitchen, we were able to open this space - letting it breathe and become something softer and more intentional.

From the mid-century inspired sofa with a mattress cushion in durable performance fabric to the vintage Danish chairs upholstered in a weighty English woven stripe, to the one of a kind floral paintings, every layer is thoughtful, a little playful, and designed to be truly lived in.

Proof that practical can still feel special!
