Animal Welfare & Behavior ~🎓CCDT IAABC & FFCT~ Television Host/Fitness Spokesperson

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I was incredibly touched to be featured in Farm Sanctuary’s ~Sanctuary News~ alongside one very special guy - Darbster.
Darbster & I share a unique connection, both making the journey from Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen NY to our new life at the sanctuary in Acton, CA.
His cross country journey with his friends Gee, MJ & Leslie is pretty remarkable in itself.
So grateful that Farm Sanctuary chose to share a little piece of our story. #farmsanctuarylife #donkeylove #tailsofrescue #animalwelfare #lovewhatyoudo taken in Acton, California by @kathy_derry

“Not everybody likes this kinda life, but we do, don’t we?
Still workin’ hard like my daddy told me
Still keep it low-key, still ridin’ high behind them low beams. If you don’t know about this nowhere, you don’t know me Not everybody thinks we got it made, but we do, don’t we?” lyrics by: Morgan Wallen #lovewhatyoudo #animalwellness #caregiver #farmsanctuary #tailsofrescue taken in Acton, California by @kathy_derry

“Well, life’s got a lot of sticks “n” stones And a blade that’ll cut you to the bone But if you’re doing what you love and it kills you Well, you can live with that all day long So if you’ve got a fire, don’t lose it If you’ve got a do-or-die dream,do it If you got something to prove,go “n” prove it Don’t let nobody clip your wings Keep your head down, keep on the blinders Tune out the doubters and all the closed-minders If it’s in your blood, falling down ain’t enough to change who you were born to be Gettin’ back up, that’s the only backup plan you’ll need” #greatsong #backupplan #lovewhatyoudo #animalwelfare #animalrescue #farmsanctuary #animalwellness #healthcare #behavior #farmanimals #cows #pigs #goat #sheep #hens #roosters #smile #loveis #animaladvocate by @kathy_derry

“And all the roads that lead to you were winding And all the lights that light the way were blinding There are many things that I would like to say to you. But I don’t know how, I said maybe You’re gonna be the one that saves me? To see the world in a way others deny, might be the personal definition of animal welfare work
As this career continues to grow for me, the message remains the same in work & in life…
To believe one is acting In a humane manner, one must first determine whether you would want it done to you! #animalwelfare #farmanimals #beautifulcreatures #behavior #dogs #cats #pigs #goats #cows #sheep #hens #turkeys #wildlife #endcruelty #rescueanimals #bekind #smile #rescueismyfavoritebreed #lovewhatyoudo taken in Watkins Glen, New York by @kathy_derry

“I’m not always right
But still, I ain’t got time for what went wrong
Where I end up, I don’t really care
I’m out of my mind
But still, I’m holding on like a rolling stone
