Katherine March Driscoll (@kathydisco) examines the effects of time on the built environment. Photographs of dark windows, windows with cats, a building for rent—each holds a moment still while quietly acknowledging its passing. But where are we? Driscoll’s work is devoid of human presence, yet traces of our lives—and our deaths—permeate each scene, surfacing like memories: details that hover between the mundane and the deeply meaningful.

If you are there between now and Feb go to @fondazione_giuliani and see for yourself, I’ll send you a list of recs. Happy to be home so I can vote! by @kathydisco

A year without Mary O - my queen, who continues to lay down the life lessons from beyond. Grateful to have been in your orbit; the coolest, smartest, most fiercely independent world-traveling badass artist I ever knew. The first pic from the day we met (back 2 back birthdays, we had an understanding), the last an important observation along the way. That’s what it’s all about! Love you forever, dearest Mare. by @kathydisco
