Growth has looked a lot less like having all the answers and a lot more like learning I don’t have to force everything into one clean story.

Some things were beautiful and painful. Some people mattered and still weren’t meant to stay. Some chapters changed me and still needed to end

Life gets a lot easier when everything doesn’t have to be either/or 🤍

The wellness world has given us a whole new language for healing, boundaries, nervous systems, consciousness… all of it 🧠

But knowing the language and actually living it are two very different things.

Lana and I got into what we’re skeptical of in the wellness world including spiritual fuck bros, people who can pontificate about consciousness but somehow forget about consent, and the fact that sounding evolved doesn’t necessarily mean you are.

There’s a lot I love about the wellness space. There’s also a lot that makes me 👀.

We have a name for fucking everything now.

I know I write a lot about reinvention, identity shifts, healing and becoming. I’ve built half my life around self-awareness.

But sometimes I wonder if we’ve gotten a little too good at analyzing ourselves.

The guy is avoidant.
The bad decision is a trauma response.
The text gets dissected by the group chat, your therapist and ChatGPT.

Sometimes a man isn’t avoidant, he’s just a fuckboy.
Sometimes you made a bad decision because it sounded fun. Some things don’t need to become lessons.

Sometimes they just become really good stories 😉💋
