Teaching kids the magic of Halloween! 🎃 Comment BOO for details.

I started a little snappier, but got into more showing and explaining, and let me add to it:

👻 they love shredded paper almost more than toys
👻 I get them pajamas for every big holiday and that’s what they wear all year, so totally justified
👻 magnatiles in every form, shape, and color. My 4 yo can play for hours
👻 last year I got them a stretchy Frankenstein from Target and they STILL play with it, so adding the cat to the mix
👻 Mickey Mouse is everything in here, so a few small things were totally worth it
👻 lanterns are self-explanatory. So cool!
👻 a mix of regular books and interactive books, because I want my kids to love reading and not only playing with the books.

This year I skipped activity books, because we still have a few from last year we didn’t finish.

I spend so much time making things feel magical for everyone else, so it was really nice to step into a little magic myself. 💫

A candlelit dinner in a private garden, the prettiest tablescape, Mahjong, and conversations with women I could’ve stayed up talking all night to. Thank you @freestyle.world and @mamansbrooklyn for having me. 💜
