I honestly didn’t know how my transition into mommy society would go as a 47-year-old “geriatric pregnant lady”…but as my belly grows so does my village of mamas…and no one’s judging!

I spent the most beautiful day playing Mahjong (like my G’ma used to) with @mamansbrooklyn and so many moms from different parts of the city—joined by amazing brands to support our journeys!!

I was telling my husband all about it afterwards (bc these mom events are new to me) and he said: “I’m just so glad you get to experience this part of having a baby.” This gave me the chills in a good way bc my journey has by no means been normal or easy, and I never envisioned anything other than bringing baby into this world. I’m SO GRATEFUL just to be in the room.

I really never thought I’d say this (at least the younger version of me never would’ve thought it), but I LOVE BEING PREGNANT! I cherish the person it’s made me, the people it’s brought into my life, and most of all, where it’s taking me:
