A tiny clip of Doppler’s Hungarian Pastoral Fantasy for flute & piano 🪈 🎹

This piece has been a fav of mine to play since being introduced to it by my teacher Paula Robison at the New England Conservatory during my undergraduate studies, and I had fun revisiting this colorful work with @santakito this past June 💖

Just a tiny clip of a gem of a piece, Andersen’s Scherzino for flute and piano. Full video is up on YouTube! 💓

I remember loving this piece as a young flutist, so it was a joy to revisit it and play with @alextuchman this past October. 🎹

Anytime things feel overwhelming and doubts creep in, returning to the music that first lit the spark is always grounding. It reminds me of the “why” behind it all.✨
Wishing you all a beautiful and inspired Friday 🌸🫶🏻🌷

Looking back on lovely memories last year of working with wonderful flutists in Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷🪈 Each player and listener was so attentive and full of enthusiasm for music. I know that they inspired me! Hopefully that inspiration was mutual 💖

I’m looking forward to returning to Argentina in a few weeks, this time giving a class in Rosario on July 13. You can register to play or listen through @cameratarosario.
