While some things are impossible to hide on stage, other aren’t; what happened “Entre bambalinas” or “in the wings” might be fueling what is happening on stage in a unique way. #thejazzgallery #sinfonietta #livemusic #nycmusicians #chamberconcert

A @charles_ives_music_festival for the record books! 🎻🔥 I am slowly coming out of hibernation after a jam-packed 2 weeks and have been loving reliving these memories! As always, performing with @georgemeyermusic @jacobrshack @mlyon3 was a dream. Bermel, Crumb, Barber, Meyer — just a few of the works we performed. Some other highlights include Rhapsody in Blue with @mikcat_piano, Derek Bermel’s Ritornello with @mikebonomusic 😍, and teaching a Broadway workshop with the students! Thanks to @paulfruchtmusic for bringing us all together year after year. So lucky to have these friends and colleagues. (Also had to document listening to @arianagrande ‘s new album — peep the head-banging in the second to last picture 🤣)

🎶 Can a student flute deliver a truly beautiful performance?

A well-designed student flute can provide an excellent playing experience, offering reliable response, comfortable key action, and a warm, balanced sound. While professional instruments have their own advantages, today's quality student flutes can be a fantastic choice for developing musicians.

In this delightful performance, @katieflute plays Boccherini on two Eastman student flutes, demonstrating how musical expression comes from both the performer and a well-crafted instrument.

A big thank you to @katieflute for sharing this inspiring performance. Be sure to visit her page for more flute performances, educational content, and instrument demonstrations!

An outstanding performance by @katieflute of Paul-Agricole Génin's Carnival of Venice Variations for flute and piano.

This brilliant work is one of the ultimate showcases of double tonguing, demanding exceptional speed, precision, and control. Katie's expressive and technically refined performance brings every variation to life with remarkable artistry.

A true inspiration for every flutist.
