When your couple has a sweet tooth✨✨✨

I’m still obsessing over how these custom candy bags turned out for B&J’s welcome market— truly one of my favorite paper details of the entire weekend! The design for these bags was inspired by Brigitte & James’ favorite candy shop in their hometown, Boston 🤍🍬✨

Each guest was free to grab a bag, fill it with candy of their choice, and take home for a sweet late night treat!

The sweetest ending to an unforgettable wedding weekend.

After days filled with celebrations, laughter, and so many beautiful memories, Brigitte & James gathered with their family and friends one last time for a farewell brunch on Sunday morning.

Of course, we couldn’t let the weekend end without one more personal touch! A custom crêpe station was designed to recreate their favorite little crêpe stand in London… a sweet nod to another special chapter of their story.

There’s something so special about that final morning together. One last chance to share stories from the weekend, exchange hugs, and soak in a little more time with loved ones before everyone headed home to destinations across the East Coast and all the way to Ireland.

And just like that, the most incredible wedding weekend came to a close. So much love, so many thoughtful details, and memories we hope Brigitte & James and their guests will treasure forever.

What a joy it was to be part of it all.

And then came the after party…where every detail was completely Brigitte & James!

Decked out in navy and inspired by their favorite team, the Boston Red Sox, guests entered through our own take on Fenway Park… reimagined as Horkan Park for the night.

But beyond the baseball details, we wanted the space to tell their story. A Care Bear claw machine paid homage to the blue Care Bear James used when he proposed to Brigitte… a sweet nod to the fact that they both grew up with Care Bears they were inseparable from. And a blue London phone booth, topped with a disco ball, celebrated the chapter of their story spent living together in London.

From Boston to London to a little blue Care Bear, we took the pieces of their story and turned them into an after party that could only belong to Brigitte & James.

Because the best celebrations aren’t just beautiful… they’re personal.

A morning for Brigitte and her girls.

Everyone arrived in matching pajamas gifted by the bride before gathering for the sweetest bridesmaids brunch tucked inside the greenhouse on her parents’ property. Surrounded by greenery and florals, with a soft pastel palette setting the tone, it felt like stepping into the prettiest little garden.

The table was filled with scones, pastries and sweet bites alongside mimosas, tea and coffee. At each place setting silver compact mirrors engraved with each bridesmaid’s name made for the sweetest keepsake.

Matching pajamas, thoughtful details, a beautiful table, and a room filled with some of Brigitte’s favorite people… the perfect morning together before the wedding day celebrations began.

Welcome to the Lowcountry!

Brigitte & James kicked off their welcome party at Moreland Landing in the best way possible… arriving by boat to a dock filled with their family and friends cheering them in. The sweetest welcome and the perfect start to the night!

From there, guests grabbed a bag and took a shopping trip through “Horkan’s Moreland Market,” filling it with all kinds of Lowcountry goodies before stopping by the hat bar to create their own cowboy hats… personalized branding and all.

Later, “Horkan’s Ice Cream Shop” served chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches as a fun nod to Savannah’s beloved Leopold’s, while guests explored the iconic tree house overlooking the May River.

And as the sun went down, Parks Brothers Band took over with classic country covers and everyone danced the night away under the Lowcountry sky.

From arriving by water to cowboy hats, sweet treats, and dancing under the stars, every detail felt personal to Brigitte & James and gave their guests a little taste of the Lowcountry they love.

Nothing like a little friendly competition to kick off a wedding weekend.

30 teams, custom paddles, towels and pickleballs, and Brigitte’s dad on the mic as our official tournament MC made for one seriously fun afternoon.

And somehow, it ended exactly as it should have… with Brigitte & James taking home the win! James scooped Brigitte onto his shoulders and carried her through the crowd, high-fiving everyone along the way.

So much laughter, a little competition, and all of their favorite people together in one place—the perfect way to get Brigitte & James’ wedding weekend started!

There’s something extra special about celebrating at home.

Brigitte & James began their wedding weekend in the bride’s parents’ backyard at Palmetto Bluff, surrounded by their closest family and friends. One long serpentine table winding along the marsh, glowing in candlelight as the sun faded and the stars came out.

The kind of evening that doesn’t need much more than a beautiful view, a table filled with the people you love most, and the anticipation of everything still to come.

Katie Knowles has a way of making the long game sound appealing. She taught herself calligraphy, built a studio around work she loves, and kept showing up for it while working long shifts in emergency medicine. Now she’s creating bespoke wedding stationery and a business that gives her more say in how she spends her days.

A friend asked Katie Knowles to create signage for her wedding. Katie shared the work on Instagram, and soon people were asking what else she could make. She kept saying yes, fitting calligraphy projects around her shifts in emergency medicine until the creative work grew into a business of its own.
