Enjoyed a fantastic Salome at Cincinnati Opera. 👏🏻 @michelle_deyoung is always the best queen 👸🏼 (and I miss you terribly 🫶🏻). And thanks @awissa.mawie for going with me… sorry I didn’t give you a proper content warning. 🫣 taken in Cincinnati Music Hall by @katiesharkdoodoo

Merry Christmas Eve to all of the childless aunts and uncles who are also exhausted, headache-d, and grateful to sleep in tomorrow morning. 😂 I am so full of love and exasperation. 🥰🤪🎄 Can’t wait to see all of Santa’s hard work tomorrow, well after the noon hour. Thoughts and prayers to all of the middle-aged elves… y’all are so impressive. 🫶🏻 by @katiesharkdoodoo

Ya'll wish a happy got-ya-versary to Win-Bin, Winnie McBinnie, Ms. Winifred, Winnie the Poop. She's a pain in the butt, and we've all loved her anyway for 5 years now! by @katiesharkdoodoo

A middle child will always cherish the moments she gets alone with her parents. 🥰 Especially when they come visit from 12 hours away. 🥲 by @katiesharkdoodoo

Blessed to make it to another year! 🎉
I finished this one strong with a month abroad, but overall, 36 was a year of... let's call it a spiritual reckoning for me. 🙃😅 Something about getting closer to mid-life really forced me to assess my priorities and how I'm spending my days. Life can kind of pick you up and carry you away, can't it? At some point we have to sit down and refocus on what we actually want to accomplish in our time here, and, phew boy!, that's a tough self-edit. 💁🏻‍♀️ Luckily, I'm a fan of a challenge. Here's to a new year of rising to it. 🥂 37 is destined to be the most purposeful and joyful yet. 🥰

Thank you to everyone who sent their well-wishes!

And landscape Trani. 🤣 Including:
• a handful of the singers who I absolutely fell in love with (singers are a special people and I miss ya'll)
• olives 🫒😍
• the newfound love of my life - caffé freddo (I don't know how they make it so good, honestly)
• and an outtake of me fighting to keep the tempo from my rehearsal with the orchestra, which is the singular only video I took of me singing because I never ever think to hand anyone my phone to record 💁🏻‍♀️ (don't judge us, judge my stylish monochrome outfit 🤌🏻)

I need to also include a special thank you to @arthurjeffreylevy , one of the loveliest humans I've ever met, for helping get Wally in shape (and helping me rediscover Marietta). 🫶🏻 taken in Puglia, Trani by @katiesharkdoodoo

Finally taking a moment to share Trani! ❤️ She's a beautiful city, and I had a fantastic time there with some amazing people. Working with the magnificent @profcherylstuder was a dream, along with so many other amazing coaches and teachers. Puglia holds a little spot in my heart now and I can't wait to return (in a season other than summer 😂🥵). taken in Puglia, Trani by @katiesharkdoodoo
