I was so fortunate to be in @iujsom productions of Die Fledermaus and Carmen in the 2024-2025 season! 🤍❤️

In October, I had the most amazing opportunity to portray Rosalinde. She is truly a character I will always carry with me. A huge thank you to @michael.shelldirects and @kevin_murphymusic for all of their work on this production and for their guidance.

In April, I was in the chorus of Carmen! It was such a fun experience, and I’m so grateful for all of the wonderful friendships and memories.

✨Goodbye Yesterday✨

2024; The year that showed me how masterful the Savior is with broken pieces.

So many losses turned into lessons; trials into triumphs; and immaturity transformed with intimacy. If I never endured the things I did, I wouldn’t have realized the boundless capacity of God to heal, comfort, restore, and redeem. I may be as fragile as a jar of clay, but if I can host His presence, I’m just as I should be.

I pray that 2025 is the year of softened hearts and opened eyes for all of you reading this post. He died for you, and He’s not done with you!🤍

Highlights!

Jan: Workshopped “Swimming in the Dark” by Mark Hennessy and competed in the Indiana district Met Comp.

February: Celebrated BHM with @iu_aace; the start of my “lasts” with the best choir ever!

March: Had my last IU Opera Theater performance as a Baddie in “Eugene Onegin”

April: Watched the TOTAL eclipse with friends and hosted my friends and family for my FINAL obligatory recital ever😉. I felt so loved and supported

May: Taught “Peze Kafe” START TO FINISH to the Cheerful Heart Mission Choir of Tilori, Haiti. It was the most fulfilling musical experience of my life thus far

June: Spent some well needed time with my family and made memories

July: Attempted to unbig my back…I know y’all see it🤭

August: Sang at the Inaugural IU Indy Induction ceremony

September: I had my life transformed at the inaugural women’s retreat hosted by @citychurchbtown

October: I owned the streets of NYC and caught up with a celebrity 🤩

November: Sang backup for @maverickcitymusic from the bleachers with @kylee_hobbs, WON an Encouragement Award from the @metoperacompetition, Saw my first Met Opera and met a STAR, and officially joined the City Church Worship Team!

Cheers to overcoming and celebrating more in 2025!🥳

This year has been full of opportunity! I am so grateful for my friends, family, and teachers who have loved and supported me throughout this year! I was able to perform one of my favorite roles, Donna Elvira, twice and role debut Rosalinde at Jacobs. I have had so many adventures, traveled to new places, and made lifelong friends.
Thank you 2024! 🤍🤍🤍
