🍂 NEW SEPHORA PERFUMES FOR FALL 2026 👀 I went to Sephora to smell some of the newest perfume releases and see which fragrances might deserve a spot in my fall rotation.

I tested Ariana Grande Cloud Aurora, KAYALI Boujee Kitty Caramel Milk | 22, Burberry Goddess Amber Vanilla Intense, and PHLUR Honey Moon. We’re talking vanilla, caramel, amber, honey, musk, sandalwood and all those warm gourmand notes that start sounding REAL good when fall gets close. 😂🤎

I’m on attempt #2 trying to get the perfect ash blonde boho braids and I STILL feel like we haven’t nailed the color. 😩😂

I’m going for that cool-toned, dimensional ash blonde—not too yellow, not too golden. We’ve been working with 613, 27 & 04, but something just isn’t giving me the exact look I have in my head.

So I need the hairstylists, braiders and hair-color experts to clock in! 😂 Is it the color combination? The type of braiding hair? The way the colors are being blended?

🚨 Headquarters… y’all might need to put THIS on the menu permanently. 🤤👇

I was invited to an influencer event and was served a sampler box with fried Red Snapper, fried shrimp, baked mac & cheese, and seafood salad.

I’ll be honest—I left with mixed emotions. The hospitality wasn’t quite what I expected, but one thing I can’t take away from them is this: the food absolutely delivered. 👏🏾

The biggest surprise? The fried Red Snapper. I had tried red snapper before and wasn’t impressed, but the way Headquarters prepared it completely changed my mind. It reminded me of a perfectly fried soft shell crab, and I haven’t stopped thinking about that box since.

I checked their page hoping to order it again… and I don’t even see it on the menu! 😭

So here’s my request: Can we convince Headquarters to make this sampler box a permanent menu item? If you’d order it too, share this reel, tag Headquarters, and drop a 🐟 in the comments. Maybe together we can make it happen!

Yesterday, our church hosted its annual Summer Party for the kids. Parents got to drop them off, let them have an amazing time, and enjoy a little break ourselves.

When I came back to pick up my babies, adult after adult couldn’t wait to tell me about the talent they displayed during the talent show.

My son, Ace, got up and preached a sermon completely off the cuff with little to no preparation. His message? You don’t have to be big to serve God in a big way.

He used the story of Cain and Abel, explaining that while Cain may have been bigger and stronger, it was Abel’s sacrifice that found favor with God, and that’s what made Cain jealous.

Y’all… they said the room was in awe.

What blessed me even more was hearing so many people talk about how much both of my children know the Bible. As their mother, I’ve always known the Word was being planted in them, but now others are seeing the fruit too.

Do they play? Absolutely. Do they test my patience? Every single day. 😂 But beneath all of that, they have morals, principles, and a genuine love for God. They know His Word, and more importantly, they’re learning to live it.

As a parent, there are few things more rewarding than watching your children publicly honor the God you’ve been teaching them about at home. Ace took home the first place trophy 🏆 My heart is so full. ❤️ taken in Uproar Church by @katj_media

Sunday was Baptism Sunday at my church, and while I was happy for everyone who said yes to God, one baptism especially touched my heart.
One day after service, a woman stopped me and said, “Everyone always looks so happy to be here.”
I smiled and replied, “Because we are.”
The truth is, many of us remember what it felt like before we walked through those doors. Life had put its hands on us. We were overwhelmed, overlooked, misunderstood, defeated, and searching for refuge.
Then one faithful Sunday, our souls led us to Uproar.
We were met with warm smiles, genuine love, and the presence of God. And little by little, He began to make us new.
So when I watched her step into that water, I couldn’t help but smile. Because if God did it for me, He can do it for her too.
That’s the beauty of baptism. You watch someone publicly leave behind an old life and rise into a new one.
God still restores.�God still heals.�God still makes people new.
