POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Look at my pretty banner 🥰 And my perfect son, Jinse, who never did anything wrong 💅
.
I loved letting myself get a little feral while writing this book. It's got blœd! It's got casualties! It's got mild body horror! And lads, you KNOW it's got gays 💙💙
.
That's my new marketing campaign. Instead of "got milk?", it'll be "got gays?", and the best part is we can keep the key visuals of characters with white mystery goo on their faces. If anyone asks, it's milk~
.
Anyway that's enough trying for me today. If you guys need me I'll be clipping into the ceiling.

For the last day of @chaptersoncaffeine 's #authorvisibilityquest , here's the first post of a NEW BANNER 🎉 Yes it's everything that was on my old banner, but just LOOK at who learned how to make a seamless image 🥰🥰
.
I mean. It's not seamless yet, but uhh wait for the next two posts. It WILL be seamless. And you'll all be proud of me, and tell me I'm cool. And I'll tell you all you're cool, and everybody will be happy 💙
.
Anyway support indie authors, bye 💅

This is one of those posts where I just stumbled across a random canva template that I thought was funny to repurpose. This template seemed to be for like a men's fashion magazine, so here we are, and we're all dumber for it 🥰🥰
.
So who's your style icon? 👀

My boysss 🥰 Look at them! Both so stupid, so silly, and yet?? So convinced they're smart and right forever and ever amen 😭💙
.
Also who else is surprised at Kai's "screams at bugs" score? And who's NOT surprised? It didn't get to come up in the book but canonically he's afraid of spiders 💀💀 Because I hadn't humiliated him enough, basically.
.
Comment a gif to give me motivation to finish a River x Ione fic I beg, it's been half-finished and staring at me for like 3 months 👀

I apologise if it's cringe to crack yourself up, but "How many concussions is safe" gets me every time I think about it 💀💀 That and "Can a certain amount of coc*ine be good" like Kai seriously go sit down 🫠
.
YES yes now to go make a post for the characters of All the Quiet Gods 🙃 I should've had that ready to combine with this post but I DON'T because I was taking a NAP 🥰🥰
.
Anyway which google search are you, I'm "yuri ao3" 💙

Also why I chose the 11th of May 2027 for All the Quiet Gods: it's Tuesday! Happy Tuesday 🥰🥰
.
But seriously, this is for everyone who's ever stressed about when to publish: just go with your gut. And by gut I mean vibes 💅
.
Who else let an astrology book they got at a book fair in the 90s dictate their life? Get A Cosmic Clue also says my lucky colour is red~

Bleep blorp it's Merle's and Piper's turn to jump onto the "Understand My Ship" ship 🥰 I'm definitely Piper this time around, except that I refuse to pilot a car.
.
Poor Merle is so tsun-tsun. She's got like no dere, like MAYBE 10% dere. Her heart doesn't even doki-doki. Piper's like hey do you want my kokoro? My doki-doki kokoro?? And Merle's like "What the HELL are you saying" 💅✨️
.
What the hell AM I saying bro. Probably nothing?? Vote in the comments which dere you are.

Recycling aaaall the classic trends 💅 As intimidating as it was to start posting All the Quiet Gods stuff after a year plus of marketing Hail the Rising Tides, I've enjoyed being able to reuse all my old post ideas 🥰🥰 Thinking? Marketing?? No thank you~
.
Anyway buy my book or something, idk I'm going to bed 💙

Happy The Best Month! I've actually changed my tune on October recently: I used to resent how wet and gloomy it gets in Ireland, but after the summer we had, I'm looking forward to getting all cosy with my lil pumpkin candles 🥰🥰
.
Piper's having a great time too, it looks like! And so is Jinse 💙 Merle? Well, Merle's never happy, so don't take it too personal~
.
Unrelated but we took our cat to the vet for his yearly vaccines yesterday and the vet called him a Very Good Boy and said he wished every cat was as polite as him 😭💙 The absolutely unwarranted pride that gave me lmao 💅

Finally, after one million years, doing the "know the ship" tag I first saw on @liawriteswords 's account 💀💀 (and originally by gibbarts on twitter). Tag yourself, I'm Ione 🥰
.
The "confesses first" one made me laugh since Ione is the sort of awkward where she'd accidentally admit to crushing on someone and then would be forced to roll with it. I'm sort of similar, except in my case I would tactically confess to people with the expectation that they would decline. And, freed from the burdens of unrequited love, I could move on with my life.
.
Famously this is almost what happened with me and my husband. I worked up the guts to confess to him, fully knowing he'd say no, so I could force myself to get over it. So, I confessed! And he did say no 🤣🤣
.
Apparently the "get over it and move on" part was easier said than done~

Here we are, at the end of another month! September was weirdly rough, so help me celebrate seeing the ass-end of it by starting another ridiculous Hail the Rising Tides fic 🥰🥰
.
Also hooray for a new look on these monthly posts! I figured after a year plus of running a newsletter, I should update the announcement post to be a lil prettier 💙
.
Anyway like comment subscwibe or whatever, you have two more days OR ELSE (a pox of some sort) 👀
