the color green,

full poem on my substack.

💚

still, above all
green is life.

through plants and trees,
through grasslands stretching wide,
through oceanic rivers
where living waters glide.
it covers the earth so graciously,
a breathing tapestry
beneath the sky.

green keeps going
rooted, restless, and free.

perhaps that is why
I find myself at ease,
because green does not ask me to be anything
but alive.

through change, uncertainty, growth, and becoming. learning to meet life as it comes, to outgrow and begin again, to find beauty in the in between.

to carry what has shaped me while leaving room for what has yet to come, in standing at the edge of what I know, trusting what will unfold.
