curiosity has shaped so much of who I am.

5 years ago, I started artplatterforyou. half a decade of creating, learning, and sharing my passion has led me to a place I never imagined I’d be. thank you for being here🤍

from food, culture, art to travel, nature, hiking, environmentalism, and the simple joy of exploring. every new ingredient, place, person, and experience has expanded the way I see the world. I believe curiosity is what keeps life alive. it invites us to learn, create, wander, and discover passions we never knew we had🌱🦋🥾✨

the joy cooking and baking bring me is found from start to finish. from the earth where an ingredient grows to the people gathered around the table enjoying it. it’s creating something meaningful with my hands, finding inspiration wherever I go, and appreciating everything that lies in between.

~

every experience brings new lessons, wisdom, perspective, and gratitude to a life that is entirely your own to write.

that is the beauty.

that is the adventure.

to remain open to movement, to change, and to the unknown.

because I think the moment we stop being curious is the moment we stop discovering not only the world, but ourselves.

oatmeal bowls of color, because sometimes joy is as simple as wearing the color you’re craving and eating it too✨

my favorite oatmeal bowl recipes will soon be shared on my website and substack!! 🥣

~

craving a color upon waking, a soft golden yellow, a deep berry blue, or a grounding green. not thinking too hard, but listening, noticing, and acting with intention. the oatmeal I make often mirrors the palette of my mood, as if my body and creativity are speaking the same language.

color has a quiet way of shaping our experience. it influences mood, energy, perception, memory, and even the way we move through the world. the colors we surround ourselves with can feel comforting, energizing, inspiring, or grounding🍓🌙🧡🌱🫐🦋💜

there is a certain completeness in listening to those cravings and honoring them, through what we wear, what we create & what we eat.

nearly everyday I look foward to opening my tinned fish whether morning, mid day or night, @fishwife serves up the most delicious tins packed with flavor, uniqueness & quality, which is why I love them so much and wanted to share these tasty meals!

its also why I included @fishwife in my article “are sardines really trending right now?” 🐟✨ yes tinned fish are having a moment, but there are so many incredible ways to enjoy small fatty fish beyond the usual idea of sardines on toast. trout, mackerel, anchovies, salmon, tuna, and so many others all bring their own flavors, textures, nutrients, and possibilities into the kitchen. that’s one of the reasons I love & support @fishwife so much, they make tinned fish feel exciting, inspiring, and fun to cook with. each tin opens up an opportunity to create something colorful, comforting, creative, and deeply nourishing while adding more diversity to the way we eat seafood. it’s not all about trends, it’s about discovering new flavors, supporting better seafood choices, and finding simple ways to enjoy your meals everyday.
