This is a special one…I hope it inspires you to keep going when you feel alone & everything within you wants to give up. The things that hurt us the most can either “make you bitter or make you better”. I choose better. 🙏🏽 by @kattrockell

Are you truly putting in the work? Are you working on your SPIRIT? Are you telling your story or living your life based on somebody else’s story about you? I had to ask myself all of these questions … “The truth is hard to swallow when you’re choking on your pride.” - Russ … If you want it, stop playing and go get it. 💫💪🏽🧡

Why do most R&B songs not have bridges anymore? “Because the structure shifted from story arc & vocal climax to loopable mood architecture. Bridges are about transformation. Streaming rewards repetition.

Had me from day one. I remember seeing the “Lady” music video—it was clearly the beginning of something magical. I went out and bought the CD. A couple of years later, sitting with D’Angelo’s manager, Dominique Trenier, to discuss signing to their label was not only intimidating, it was life-altering. My career path led me down a different road, but I will forever be inspired by you—a giant, a legend, and an architect of a new era. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world. Fly high. 🙏🏽🕊️ by @kattrockell
