Катя осы жобаның идеясы туралы әңгімелей келе, неге уақыт ұғымы көрменің негізгі тақырыбына айналғанын түсіндіреді:

🔸Мы рады пригласить вас на особую встречу с художницей Катей Школьник — автором мультимедийной инсталляции Manifesto on Time. В непринуждённой атмосфере мы поговорим о том, как рождается современное искусство, как оно находит свои формы, темы и смыслы.
Катя откроет зрителю замысел проекта и расскажет, почему именно время стало центральной темой выставки:

«Я глубоко прожила всё, что написала в Манифесте, и чувствую ответственность поделиться этим. “Manifesto on Time” — это обращение не к людям вообще, а к каждому индивидуально. Ведь время — это, по сути, единственное, что действительно принадлежит нам. Мы истекаем временем, так же как истекали бы кровью, и это — ключ к визуальному решению проекта».

Время — самая загадочная и неуловимая субстанция нашей реальности. Мы не можем его остановить, ускорить или вернуть, но чувствуем его в каждом прожитом мгновении.

✨2025 жылдың 12 маусымынан Әбілхан Қастеев атындағы ҚР Мемлекеттік өнер музейі Катя Школьниктың «Уақыт туралы Манифест» атты иммерсивті мультимедиялық инсталляциясын ұсынады.

🔹Бұл жаңашыл көрме дәстүрлі өнер түрлерінің шегінен шығып, келушілерге уақыт, адам назарын және өсіп келе жатқан виртуалды кеңістік арасындағы дамып келе жатқан қатынастар туралы ойлануға мүмкіндік береді, сонымен қатар тартымды және мультисенсорлы тәжірибе ұсынады.
«Бұл иммерсивті мультимедиялық инсталляция Уақыт ұғымын, қазіргі әлемдегі ең құнды ресурс ретінде, түсінуге бағытталған. 🔹«Уақыт туралы манифест» көрмесі — К. Школьниктың Уақыттың көп қырлы табиғатын жеті жыл бойы зерттеуінің нәтижесі. 2024- жылдың ақпанында терең түсінік сәтінде пайда болған бұл жұмыс сериясы соңғы уақытта өнерде пайда болған жаңа құралдарды пайдаланады. Бейне, 3D анимация, Жасанды Интеллектпен диалог негізінде жасалған, айнадай орта және иммерсивті дыбыс ландшафттары, көрермендерді виртуалды дәуірдің дамып келе жатқан ландшафтында ең құнды ресурсы — Уақыт туралы сыни ойлауға тарту үшін жасалған.

📌Иммерсивті мультимедиялық инсталляцияның көрсету
шарасы 2025 жылдың 11 шілдесіне дейін жалғасады.

Katya Shkolnik @katya.shkolnik is a Soviet-born, Milan-based multidisciplinary artist working across photography, video, sound, and large-scale installation. Trained as a nuclear engineer before committing to artistic practice, her biography reads as a series of sovereign redirections, each a small act of will against the grain of a life that, by her own account, was effectively pre-assigned. The work that emerged from this improbable itinerary is organized around a single, persistent obsession: time—not as a metaphor, but as a physical and perceptual phenomenon whose structure she believes art is uniquely equipped to expose.

New Interview Live on The FLUX Review

Katya Shkolnik is a Milan-based multidisciplinary artist and photographer whose work explores the unseen structures of time, consciousness and reality through immersive perceptual experiences.

With a background in nuclear engineering, her practice moves across photography, video, sound and large-scale installation. Using the camera as a research tool, she examines ideas of quantum physics, duality and the shifting boundary between reality and illusion.

Scale is central to her work. Her compositions evoke the vastness of the night sky, drawing the viewer beyond the limits of everyday perception and towards a deeper awareness of our place within time itself.

Her work has appeared in international auctions, including Christie’s London and BFAMI, and is held in private collections across Canada, the United States, Kazakhstan, Brunei, Russia, Spain and the United Kingdom. In 2025, she presented her solo exhibition Manifesto on Time at the Abilkhan Kasteev National Art Museum in Almaty.

After spending so much time by the computer last year, it became an absolute must to get my hands dirty and create something tangible, something in the flesh.
Here are a few initial “sketches” exploring a new idea I’ve started investigating. I’m calling it “Grasp”—a metaphor for our futile attempts to hold onto time and, in doing so, cancel out inevitable change.

A huge thank you to the team at @rauotan for the incredible interviews from the opening of our “Manifesto on Time” exhibition at the National Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was a true honour to share the project’s vision.
What’s fascinating is how seamlessly technology aided the process—the interviews were translated by AI in a matter of seconds. It’s truly incredible how easy and efficient everything is becoming, which brings me to a thought that it’s so easy to start taking this kind of technology for granted. When things become so handy and fast, we risk losing sight of the human effort and creativity that make it all possible. This very idea is at the heart of “Manifesto on Time”—a reminder to stay mindful and present, even as the world speeds up.
