As part of Sustainable Fashion Week UK @sustainablefashionweek_uk 2026, the José Hendo R³ Campaign @r3_campaign brought its message to the streets of London for the very first time.

The R³ Campaign was founded in 2014 following the Rana Plaza factory collapse in Bangladesh.
For more than a decade, it has championed a simple but important message:
Responsibility lies with both the maker and the wearer.

For the first time, we took the R³ message onto the streets.
Why?
Because sometimes traditional fashion presentations can leave the conversation behind. People see the clothes, but not always the story, the choices, or the values behind them.

The R³ Street Walk was created to bring people into the conversation.
It wasn’t about creating a perfect fashion moment.
It was about living the values we talk about.
We did our own hair and make-up.
We wore our own shoes.
We proudly carried the R³ branding.

Many of us wore garments from previous José Hendo collections, some restyled and some worn exactly as they were.
We travelled by bus and train, despite transport disruptions across London.
Because R³ is about:
• Using what we already have.
• Valuing what already exists.
• Extending the life of our garments.
• Making conscious choices.
• Sharing stories and inspiring reflection.
Most importantly, we started conversations.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us as part of Sustainable Fashion Week UK, supported us, and helped make the first R³ Street Walk such a meaningful experience.
And now the conversation continues.
Our R³ Ambassadors are carrying the message into their families, schools, workplaces, neighbourhoods, creative spaces and communities. @kaumaarts @gsnk10 @teriimelda @isaiahwamala4 @bella._.burrowss @epxcs
The Street Walk may be over, but the conversations are only just beginning.

Because every outfit has a story.
Every garment has a journey.
Every choice has an impact.

MAKE YOUR STORY COUNT FOR PEOPLE & PLANET.

The José Hendo R³ Campaign
Reduce • Reuse • Recycle
R³ STREET WALK: Every Outfit Has a Story
London | Sustainable Fashion Week UK 2026

The José Hendo R³ Campaign (Reduce • Reuse • Recycle).
Founded by José Hendo as part of her advocacy for sustainability and circularity, the R³ Campaign encourages every individual to become more conscious of the choices they make when buying, wearing, repairing, reusing, and recycling clothing.

For over a decade, we’ve championed Reduce, Reuse, Recycle not as a slogan, but as a working method from responsible production to community‑led environmental action.

Our SFW event is an invitation to rethink how fashion is made, used, valued, and returned to the earth.
Expect real conversations, practical insight, and heritage‑rooted innovation all grounded in our commitment to producing only when necessary and designing with purpose.

This event is more than a walk it is a community experience, inviting people to rethink fashion through conversation, creativity, and participation.

From 🇺🇸✈️🇬🇧! IABD brought our global dance community together in London this summer for two dynamic gatherings focused on shaping the future of Black dance. The Mixer, in partnership with @kaumaarts with support from @SadlersWellsEast, created space to celebrate culture, cultivate relationships, and connect with artists and leaders shaping Black dance around the world.

Thank you to our collaborators @PointeBlack and @KaumaArts for The Roundtable, an intimate conversation that gathered 20 organizations and practitioners to explore our needs and strengthen international relationships and collective commitments to the growth and sustainability of Black dance globally.

We appreciate our incredible partners and everyone who joined us in London! We look forward to continuing these conversations and building on the connections made. 🖤

Together, we’ll explore how creativity, culture, and sustainability intersect and how the choices we make when buying, wearing, repairing, reusing, and recycling clothing shape the future of fashion.
This Live is your first doorway into the spirit of our SFW event.
