Welcome back to Week 3 of the Storybook Club! 📚✨🐛

Every week, we’re picking a children’s book and stretching the fun beyond storytime with a themed activity, craft, and snack. I’ll be sharing all the details so you can create meaningful memories with your little ones without having to Pinterest doom scroll👏🏻

This week’s book: “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” & themed activities:

🐛 Feed the Caterpillar activity
🦋 Cellophane butterfly wings
🍎 The Very Hungry Caterpillar snack board (featuring the cutest butterfly quesadilla!)

I think this has been our favorite Storybook Club yet! Watching Juliette get so excited to play, create, and read together is exactly why I started this series🥹

If you want to join in on our book club, just comment “STORYBOOK” and I’ll send you everything you need for Week 3, including the supply list and step-by-step instructions✨

If you recreate this one, tag me or send me pictures because I LOVE seeing your Storybook Club adventures🥹 Watching people start book clubs of their own or make these memories with their little ones has been the coolest part of this series!!

Turns out the magic from childhood wasn’t the holidays, traditions, or the little surprises…

it was mom 🥹💕

Now that I’m on this side of motherhood, I see just how much love, effort, and intention goes into creating that magic. What an incredible honor it is to be the one someone calls “mom.”🫶🏻

Cheers today to the moms doing the big things, the little things, and all the unseen things. Happy Mother’s Day!

#JELLOPartner I really think it’s the little things that make the season feel magical✨🍂

Today we made some pumpkin fluff together, grabbed a blanket and brought our favorite fall books outside for a cozy little fall picnic📚

And this pumpkin fluff is SO easy (and dangerously addicting)! It’s one of those recipes that feels festive and homemade without requiring a whole afternoon in the kitchen, which is a WIN in my book. The JELL-O Instant Vanilla Pudding makes this recipe so easy and brings it all together.

Here’s the recipe:
-1 can pumpkin puree
-1 pkg. JELL-O Vanilla Instant Pudding
-1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
-1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip

Mix the pumpkin, JELL-O vanilla instant pudding & pumpkin pie spice until combined, then stir in the Cool Whip. Refrigerate for 1 hour and serve with your favorite dippers. We went with apples, graham crackers & pretzels!

If you love a good book + a cozy little treat, save this one for your next easy but magical fall afternoon🎃🍁

The coziest fall cookies🍂✨

Perfect for a fall baking day, girls baking night or a sweet treat for Thanksgiving!

I forgot to mention in the voiceover: after you cut out your cookies, take a knife and add the leaf veins! I forgot to add them before baking & it would’ve made them look so much more realistic🥴

Probably read each of these 20+ times this season😅

If you’re trying to start a seasonal book collection, check your local consignment shops & thrift stores!! We usually buy 2-3 new books each year & then I always check for fun seasonal books when I go thrifting! You’d be surprised how many good books you’ll find✨🫶🏻

Comment “BOOKS” & I’ll send you our fall & halloween favorites📚🎃

Fall Storybook Club week two was all about a little square pumpkin🎃📚 We’re having so much fun with the seasonal books in book club!

This week, we read “Spookley the Square Pumpkin” & did these themed activities:

🎃 Spookley Rice Krispie treats
🎨 Pumpkin painting + decorating
🎳 Pumpkin bowling

Proceed with caution with pumpkin bowling LOL I truly did not consider the chaos of giving a toddler a heavy pumpkin to roll!! One of Juliette’s favorite things is tearing things down (🤪) so I knew she’d love it, but that pumpkin was flying every which way😅

If you want to recreate this, comment “STORYBOOK” and I’ll send you the supplies I used, along with the link to the full Fall Storybook Club guide!🫶🏻 The guide I created has all the detailed instructions, tips + extra ideas for all five weeks of fall book club. The goal of the guide is to take the planning off your plate so you can spend more time making seasonal magic with your little ones🍂🧡

Be sure to follow along because next week we’re reading a Halloween favorite about a witch & a spooky broom🧙🏻‍♀️🧹

It was spooky bookshelf time!🎃✨🖤

Our seasonal books get us in the festive spirit every time! If you’re wanting to start your own seasonal book collection, check out your local thrift stores and consignment shops. I’ve added so many books to our collection over the years by buying secondhand, and it’s such a fun way to grow your collection without spending a fortune🫶🏻

Tell me I’m not the only one who gets way too excited about seasonal books🫢 like if I am reading them 10x a day, I need a good variety loll

Been seeing these mini boo basket mugs everywhere & had to try it this year for my besties👻✨

I really wanted to customize each one to fit their personalities and aesthetics to make it feel really thoughtful and sentimental🫶🏻

A little boo mug gift exchange would be such a fun girls night OR surprise a few of your boos by dropping it off at their doorstep as a little surprise this Halloween season!

The festive socks are all from @americaneagle! I made the little Polaroid picture magnets & the lipgloss charms🫶🏻 Mugs are from @homegoods & cutie boo flags are @mymindseyeinc ✨

We loved doing this at Christmas time, so I thought it would be so much fun to turn it into a little October tradition too👻✨

The best part is you can customize it to be as simple or as elaborate as you want! The goal isn’t to plan a big activity every single day, but just to create a little intentional time to enjoy the season and make some seasonal magic together🧡

I have the editable cards I created, filled with Halloween + fall ideas, available in my Etsy! Comment “HALLOWEEN” and I’ll send you the link🎃
