A little late to the trend but I think it’s pretty chic to do my part! I have loved getting to host The Itty Bitty Bookclub the last few weeks! It’s such a joy to see mom and kiddos come together like this! The second meeting was so much fun today! I loved seeing some familiar faces and meeting a couple of new ones! I hope to see you all at the next one 🤍

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Week Part 2: Sensory bin and letter find

-follow along for more Chicka Chicka Boom Boom activities coming this week!

What you’ll need:
-dried pinto beans or whatever filler you want to use for the bin
-magnet letters
-letter cards (these coconut themed letter cards are free printables from Fun Learning for Kids.com)
-DIY magnetic tree: hot glue 2 cans together then paint. I could’ve painted several coats to make it look neater but who really cares? 😂 Then I cut out “Palm fronds” from green construction paper and glued them onto the top of the cans. I’ve seen some people wrap the cans in brown construction paper, but I found that the paper barrier caused the magnetic letters to have a hard time staying on. Thanks for the cute idea @kay.harike
-the tweezers and color sorting bowls came from an animal sorting set we already had at home. But you could simply cut out small pieces of construction paper for your child to sort colors onto.
