4th of July weekend ♥️ 🤍 💙
We went to a friend’s house to swim, experienced humidity beyond acceptable levels, ate our first dye free snow cone (LL was confused), scooted around Target, bought toys, and danced in the kitchen 🥰. Fireworks were stormed out for us but there’s always next year! KG was at cousin camp living his best life 🤘🏼 by @kay_whattt

We’re completely blindsided and utterly devastated at the loss of our sweet Ember (pumpkin, fluffybutt, punk, gentle giant, horse). Today is a very sad day in our household, one that words can’t truly describe.

Ember was chaotic, full of life, *always there*, cuddly, a lover of all people, energetic, a couch potato, fluffy, loyal, protective, loving and our best friend. She was a gentle & loving presence to our kids since day one. The hole she is leaving in our hearts is a really big one. Unexpectedly losing both our pre-kid dogs within 6 months of each other has been a real gut punch 😭💔 let alone sharing the weight of this with the kids has been heeeeavy.

We said goodbye to our first fur baby today. We got Ember the second year of our marriage. She’s been there with us through each move, the ups and downs, having kids, and everything in between.
