“Duke’s Hymn”

This dance choreographed by Tamara Williams to “Praise God and Dance” by Duke Ellington was a dance that explored movement as praise. I was very grateful to be apart of this piece that included jazz , west African moves , ring shout, live music from our band, and more. I love everything jazz so I felt this dance in my heart and soul. What an amazing experience 💜 by @kayahbey

Spent Force: Living Waters choreographed by April C. Turner ~ What an amazing experience

This dance explores African Culture , how it changes, and returns to its roots. I felt especially connected to this dance and it is exactly what I needed at this point in my life. Sometimes we need to be grounded.

I had the opportunity to go to Charleston recently, we know what happened to us in the past but this trip made me feel it. Everything I saw sat with me and I feel the need to live everyday with more intention and appreciation for how far we’ve come. by @kayahbey
