🕯️BOOK REVIEW: THE UNHONEYMOONERS BY CHRISTINA LAUREN 🌺 | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This one surprised me in the best way. I went in expecting a cute enemies-to-lovers romance, but I got so much more. What starts as a misunderstanding and a fake honeymoon slowly turns into honesty, vulnerability, and two people helping each other become better versions of themselves.

Olive admittedly irritated me at first because I felt like her dislike for Ethan didn’t quite add up. But watching her recognize how her own perspective was shaping the way she viewed others made her growth so satisfying. ✨Favorite character: Ethan

I also loved that, despite being a romance, the story placed so much value on Olive’s relationship with her sister. It added such a wholesome layer to the book that I wasn’t expecting.

The writing was light, funny, and incredibly easy to fly through. I finished it in just a few days. I actually started this book thinking it would be a 3-star read, but the more I read, the more it won me over. By the end, I couldn’t help but give it 4 stars. 📖💛

🕯️BOOK REVIEW: THE PERFECT DIVORCE BY JENEVA ROSE 💍 | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Three years after reading The Perfect Marriage, Jeneva Rose somehow managed to make me side with a sociopath all over again. I genuinely don’t know how she does it.

The twists completely caught me off guard, and I found myself flying through the pages just to see what would happen next. While I did notice a few small plot holes (I’m still wondering what happened with Eleanor…), they weren’t enough to take away from how entertaining this book was. ✨Favorite character: Sarah

This wasn’t one of those books that changes your life, but it was a genuinely fun thriller that kept me guessing until the very end…and that’s exactly what I want from the genre.

Needless to say, I’m ready to read more from Jeneva Rose. 📖

JUNE WRAPUP!!! 🤩💖🥳🌷🙈💞✨ | Wow!!! My first month on bookstagram was so extra lovely!!! I have found a wonderful community that truly motivated my hobby in reading. I had a slump for the first half of this year, but I read a whopping total of 3 books in June, which was more than I’ve read all year! I’m also so blessed that I found this outlet for my creativity, a cutesy place with a bunch of other cutesy creators + friends, and of course, a reason my TBR is so full!!!

🕯️BOOK REVIEW: HIS & HERS BY ALICE FEENEY 🩸 | ⭐️⭐️⭐️

His & Hers is a psychological thriller told through dual POVs with unreliable narrators. The twists kept me invested, and I had my own little investigation going the entire time. Every few chapters I’d update my mental suspect list: “98.2% Anna…1.6% Priya…” Then, “48% Anna…48% Catherine…” (if you’ve read the book, you know you’re guessing through almost every character). It made the reading experience so much fun.

That said, I just couldn’t give this one 4 stars. The quote farming was a lot. Not every chapter needs to end with a profound mic-drop moment. Sometimes I just want the thriller to…thrill.

The characters eventually grew on me, but Anna Andrews and I never really clicked. I understood why she was the way she was, but I still found her frustrating more often than not. ✨Favorite character: Jack

The ending was satisfying, and I definitely appreciated how many times the story had me second-guessing myself.

Also…Justice for KitKat. If you know, you know. 🐈📖

Assigning Hunger Games Characters 7Brew Drinks…Last Part 💔 | This series was fun!! I do feel as though it is timely to end it as I say goodbye to 7Brew and hello to teaching 😊🤩

Also SORRY for being MIA for the past few days, guys, life has been BUSY and it’s only getting busier!!! The next few months are going to be SO exciting and I absolutely cannot wait 💛 I can barely get a second in to read right now!
