I was in a florist on the day after the concert and an older guy behind me told me abt how he went to the concert with his daughter the same night as me, in restricted view as well, and how much he loved the band. The florist also told us that one of her friends said it was the best day of her life.

bought tickets 2 days before and we made it :)

things I noticed in the gold coast ⋆｡𖦹 ˚ 𓇼 ˚｡⋆

every place is called a pretty name, that just seems fitting to a sunshine state, and the street signs are unusually big

the iced coffee cup sizes are HUGE everywhere you go

people actually do swim in winter, even in the evening, even if it gets down to like 18 degrees they embrace it! I feel like people were actually appreciative of the place they get to live

they give u this lid where ur not meant to sip it with a straw?? @ps.publicsupply I ❤️U

around the beaches a lot of the houses have surfboards on the balcony or displayed somewhere, it’s how I thought it would be in my head.

everyone is always in active wear or swim wear. there is no sense of fashion- not from what I observed

this is the best place to be, I saw a whale here on my first day.

if you’re not at the beach or doing something in the sun.. what is there to do? there’s just not much there at all but I guess it makes sense why I found most people to be so friendly and at peace, they’re just going about their lives.

they don’t do daylight savings, waking up at 6am to sunshine is the way it should be

seeing wildlife! even when I saw the whale and multiple lizards no one barely even noticed, how lucky that that is someone’s normal!!!

no one is rushing or pushing past you, everyone takes their time, the roads aren’t really that busy, coming from a girl who is so used to Melbourne traffic.

it’s so cold at night still.

the beach is everywhere but it’s usually hidden by a bunch of buildings, i found it rare that you could see the beach from anywhere but right next to it. by @kayli.prime
