Beach camping inside a cave wasn't on my list of things I thought were possible. Then again, neither was this trip 😌 by @kboo.29
Core memories 💫 by @kboo.29
Pictures can never. 🤯 This planet is already the heaven we dream of reaching. Maybe we just haven't seen enough of it to know that. by @kboo.29
Nothing in this world beats the feeling of having your dream come true 😌 It took a day and a half of hiking, and passing through the world's third largest cave, Hang En, to get to the world's first larger cave, Son Doong. The entrance was tiny in comparison, with fog and mist coming out of it. We climbed all the way down into what felt like another planet. Starting from one end of the cave and getting out of the other, it took us 3 days in total to soak in its ethereal beauty. All of the sights were straight out of a fantasy world. No words or pictures can ever do justice to actually being in there - feeling the cool mist on your cheeks, watching the clouds completely fill the cave in one moment and reveal a sight so surreal the next, listening to the thousands of swallow birds chirp day and night, looking up to see the stars but all you see is rock 😶‍🌫️ The only light we had most of the time was that of our headlights. At one point the darkness was so absolute, it didn't matter if my eyes were open or closed. We also saw fish and insect species unique to the cave. Nature and time together painted some the most spectacular landscapes. Son Doong felt like being awake inside a dream. by @kboo.29
Hue > Hai Van Pass > Hoi An The highlight of this part was the fantastic driver from Hue who told me so much about Vietnam's past, present and future over a 6 hour drive. Its been such a pleasure to experience bits the country through the eyes of it's people :) At this point of the trip, I was too exhausted to go looking for things. Just walked around aimlessly and experienced what was as it was. Nearly 4 weeks of solo travel did actually take a toll on me. Who would've thought !? My introvert battery was full and I was ready to go home 🔋😵‍💫 Nearly 2 months since, I think I'm ready to go back again 🥸 by @kboo.29
A day in Jaipur 🐦 by @kboo.29
More love to Jaisalmer 🥰 Apart from the warmth of the city, we got to experience holi colours in the air, a blood moon rising, a lunar eclipse unfolding, and the sun setting over the Thar desert all in one evening. It was magical 🥺 by @kboo.29
