AND……once more I’m posting LATE because I just discovered it’s National Son Day and I have THREE AMAZING SONS!! Each of my three sons are so uniquely different. They have each given me gifts in this life that I cherish! @bbunkie01 made me a mom! Those days of being a first time mom I will always cherish. I didn’t know I could love another human so deeply. And then @dbunker89 came along and melted my heart with his spirit and sweet kisses. Then when I thought my child bearing days were behind me…I was blessed with my caboose @easton.bunker who took me on a journey of motherhood all over again! 🥹 I am indeed a woman who has been blessed beyond measure to be the mother to Blake, Dylan and Easton!! AUGUST 2026…….🥹🙌🏻❤️ So much to process! Traveling, speaking, seeing Easton and Joce in Provo, attending BYU Education Week with my sisters and Chris, visiting Debbie Kim in LA to work on my health, hanging in Laguna, mourning Dolly Parton’s passing (and grieving for one of my company alum who lost her husband😭), getting video footage of @chelseatee1’s latest masterpiece and first guest choreography of the season for Company, and getting this footage of my sweet Aurora in Chelsea’s master class as Aurora begins her 5th grade year (and gets her pointe shoes)!
I can’t list all of the wonderful meet ups and events this month! My heart is full! ❤️ by @kbunker5678

DanceOne Summit was EPIC! I’m so grateful to have been given the opportunity to speak at such an iconic dance industry event and thankful to have ended my “world speaking tour” here! 😆 Thank you @thedanceonesummit!! And so thankful to meet up with old friends @sjtookey and @denisewalldance!! 🥹 AND @lizimperio @dalelam and my beautiful alum @rilee_nyborg! 😃 Can it get any better!!?? Thrilled to have shared this experience with my colleagues in @morethanjustgreatdancing @boppinbabiesdance and @rebeccatyler.co. (and @lyndzi_barnes!). And the icing on the cake was watching the Ace Awards and seeing @isabellalown’s work as well as all the incredible artists including @madster7!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻😍😍😍😍

Almost through my “speaking tour” for August! 😆😉 I loved presenting at @danceeducatorscollective in Nashville with my @morethanjustgreatdancing colleagues @melaniegibbscoach and @missjill99! Both of these ladies inspire me and help me reach ever higher in the dance industry! Thank you @j_keez_y for this wonderful opportunity! What a beautiful event. This last week of summer has been ALL of the things! And I’m so grateful! 🙏🏻 From a last summer dinner with the family toasting Aurora’s last year in elementary school and Anh’s entrance into middle school, to speaking live virtually for the Community Call for @morethanjustgreatdancing, to the back to dance 2026-2027 faculty meeting, to media days at the studio with @digitaledgemediagroup, to the first LEAD meeting of the year for student assistants, Polar Express auditions for @bunkerdancelv with @katie.kern84, to speaking today at The Paris Hotel for @danceteacherweb! WOWZA!! And that is just this week!! (And may I add the ENDLESS hours of preparation @kenadyb @bbunkie01 @simone_fey_ @laciehoughton @daniellefaithhunt and so many others have been putting in to get the studio ready to open!! With a HUGE shout out to @morse_tammy, George for painting, Sahara Air, Pacific Electric, @tomjrwagon and all who have put so many hours into the facility itself! It takes a village with a building almost 11K sq feet! 😅)
So as I post this Sunday evening and my thoughts turn to our grand opening tomorrow for the 33rd Season of dance @bunkerdancelv, I want to savor the moment and acknowledge all the work that has been happening all summer by key people to institute new and improved policies, to ensure staff is dedicated and on the same page, and to rise ever higher!
Here is to The Power of Possibility!!
Aurora and Anh……you got this!! 😉❤️

More Than Just Great Dancing Member Rally in Nashville did not disappoint! Three days of learning! And ending with the Nash Bash Gala was a night to remember! I love every thing about MTJGD! From the people to the principles of business and culture! Thank you @mistylown and @_tiny.traveler_! Press Play Nationals!! What can I say….its not even over but I had to post some of the highlights! Last night’s Artist of the Year presentation was incredible! And to see my granddaughter on the digital screen for a Mini AOTY Finalist was so special. 🥹 AND our soon to be senior next year @lilyekus got Top 25 Senior AOTY!! 🎉 The photo wall of every single soloist was so very special. Being surrounded by my alumni either working with me or working with Press Play has been awesome! The prop dads (and moms!) have made our week so easy. Aurora getting 10th overall for her mini tap duet was awesome! Seeing all the teams dancing their hearts out is always amazing! And it’s not over!! We get to dance in the gala! Yay! We didn’t go for OPUS this year but wish all the studios who did the very best of luck tonight in the dance off!

And a HUGE heart filled with gratitude to my son @bbunkie01 for all he does for the studio in his executive roles, for @gianaonofre for being at the MGM holding down the fort as an incredible assistant director of Company, for @colbymassford_ for helping during this massive Nationals….another amazing @bunkerdancelv alum….and to @rachylmears for her help as well (and @skylarlambeth too!!❤️❤️❤️). You ladies are amazing to me! And of course to my incredible daughter @kenadyb….director of Company….for every step you have taken this season to bring us to this incredible nationals. You amaze us all! Who else could be at nationals getting girls on stage up until 20 hrs before you go in for surgery!!!!???? 👀🙌🏻

Happy 250th America!! 🇺🇸 There is one core value my parents taught me and that is to be GRATEFUL! Gratitude is happiness. I celebrated America’s 200th as a teenager and now the 250th! Because of this beautiful country I have been able to work hard and create a small business that brings me, my family and so many others opportunities, success and JOY!
