I knew the girl from Memphis Tennessee would need more to make it in this world. I was given the best of what the women in my family could give me though. I wasn’t as clear as I am now at the beginning of my journey here- but I’m crystal clear now.

A Different Kinda Woman is more than a podcast to me. It’s personal. It’s a space for the conversations we don’t always get to have—the honest, complicated, beautiful conversations about what has been built in us from who we came from, what we have seen, what we have experienced, who we are, what we’ve survived, what we desire, and who we’re becoming.

I created this for every woman who has ever felt like she was too much, not enough, misunderstood, unconventional, or simply… different.

Maybe different is exactly who we were always meant to be. ✨
