🤍🌿A hydrangea season that could last all year? …yes please! Loving this pretty new Eternity Hydrangea Collection from @venusetfleur ~ beautifully preserved hydrangeas selected at peak bloom from botanical farms in Ecuador, paired with ladylike floral porcelain pieces for the house🤍 Maybe I won’t miss my garden quite as much this fall?

🍂 Fall decor, but make it my style ~ orange pumpkins & red mums aren’t my thing so I give the season a Maple Shade vibe with English ivy, pink & white heather, baby greenery, Montauk daisies, pink mums, purple kale, white pumpkins & Brady’s carnival squash 🌿 I carry the decor poolside because we swim through October as our gardens slowly go to sleep 😢🍂 💤

🤫Oh, the stories this suite could tell…

We’re staying in the Getty Suite at La Posta Vecchia which was J. Paul Getty’s private quarters when this was his seaside home. Clearly Getty did not do understated 😉 Renaissance antiques, giant tapestries, carved wood ceilings & bespoke design details make it feel much more like a private palazzo than a hotel suite.

Getty restored the villa in the 1960’s with famed Italian art historian Federico Zeri curating an extraordinary collection of antiquities that still fill @lapostavecchiahotel today. 👀 Peep the Getty lore at the end ~ the suite has a beautiful secret door that connects directly to the Medici Suite, where his mistress often stayed🔥🔥 taken in La Posta Vecchia Hotel by @kdhamptons

Did you know that J. Paul Getty restored La Posta Vecchia as an Italian seaside retreat for himself and his mistress? 🤣 They lived in the Medici and the Getty Suite (our room!) where there’s a secret connecting door. 🇮🇹

It’s one of the more beautiful and special properties in the world.
