Hi! Little introduction post 👋

I'm Katie, a fibre artist based in Derbyshire in the UK. I originally started out weaving wall art (@ke_creates) but fell in love with using handspun yarn in my artwork and started spinning on a drop spindle in 2022.

After moving house, my lovely partner got me a spinning wheel as a present and I've been learning how to spin on the wheel since January! It took a lot of videos, tutorials and asking questions on Facebook groups, but I got the hang of it and have a new love!

I inherited this woven basket and found the perfect use for it. I'm sure the previous owner would be proud of its new purpose 💜

You know I have mini batts on my website, but do you know I also have some at @freyajonesartandcraft and @derbymuseumsshop ready for you to get crafting with?

Today I've added 15 more miniature batts to the website. Pick and mix your colours at 4 for £12 or £4 each if buying one.
