what a blessing year one has been.

dwell house came from choosing to trust the Lord with what was next, completely terrified and with no idea what it would actually become. what started as a little idea has turned into getting to create alongside some of the most talented, kind, and hardworking people we know... and somehow, we get to call this work 🤯

so grateful for every person who has trusted us with their story, their gifts, their ideas, and has let us champion who they are and what the Lord has called them to. we couldn’t do this without the team, friends, and people who have believed in DH and poured into us along the way.

thank you, Jesus. this has always been Yours. may we continue to steward it well, serve people wholeheartedly, and use what we’ve been given to celebrate what You’re doing through others.

I’m Keeli, the founder of HerAfter. I wanted to make a space for moms who were craving connection and creativity while postpartum, or even much later in motherhood.

This started as just a small idea one year ago - I had no idea if anyone would even show up. Now there’s a whole team of us creating spaces and hosting hangs for moms all the time, and I’m just so grateful ⭐️🤍 taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @keelidasilva

My Dad was so much more than these photos could ever describe, and I will never be able to write or say enough. He had the most adventurous spirit, he loved holidays; especially his birthday, July 4th — he was truly a firecracker of a person in the best way.

My brother and I got to be with him every other weekend growing up. We’d go on road trips, camping, amusement parks, you name it. He lived on a boat so that was an adventure in itself.

When we got older he moved back to his hometown states away and we would see each other often. My Dad drove his van almost 3,000 miles to Seattle a few days before Jovie’s due date and he waited in the hospital parking lot for 10+ hours during my labor & delivery. He unknowingly had stage 4 prostate cancer during that time. I had never seen him in that much pain before. He spent about an hour or two with us, holding Jovie and telling stories, and immediately drove back those many miles because he knew something wasn’t right.

He fought this metastasized cancer with such resilience and unwavering faith for about a year and a half after his diagnosis. I will always hold onto the deep conversations and so many laughs we had during this time.

My Dad really loved his children, our spouses and his grandchildren wholeheartedly. He was a loving friend, son, brother and father. He loved Jesus, and now he is with Jesus. 🪽 by @keelidasilva
