PINCH ME!!!

A day later and I still can’t believe it😭

This race genuinely could not have gone any better. One of those days where everything just clicks, everything feels good, and you just roll with it.

There were definitely moments where I doubted how good I was feeling, and the fear kicked in that I’d fall off. But with every race, you can either lean into the fear or choose to believe in yourself.

It doesn’t always pay off… but this time it did in more ways than my little brain could’ve imagined🥹

Warsaw Solo Debut 🇵🇱

Doing it alone is a different test.
Far from perfect, but grateful to get a time on the board. 2nd in AG too which is crazy to me! Still letting that sink in..

Definitely know there’s plenty room to improve, which is a nice place to be!!

Big shoutout to @coachphilmataj, not excited to see endless burpees on my programme.
And always just so grateful to be surrounded by the best support!! Big weekend for the team🤍

Pausing the hedonic treadmill for a second to appreciate the now..

Because sometimes the things you once hoped for can’t be measured by a watch, screen or number.

Lightning Bolt 10km- hot, humid and humbling ⚡️

Today was a little reminder that how you react when things don’t go to plan is just as important as the days when everything does.

It’s all part of the process.. always learning, always growing 🙂‍↕️✨

Now get me back to mara prep🥹🫶🏼

Progress rarely feels dramatic when you’re living it.

You get so caught up chasing the next goal that you forget to look back and realise how far you’ve come.

Diving into my third marathon block, it felt like the right time to take a peek back at my journey… 2024 me would be crying!!🥹

I already know this block is going to be so different. I’ve matured, I’ve learned, I’ve gained so much respect for the sport, and I’ve put in a lot of f*cking work to build a stronger body and mind.

I’ve learned plenty of lessons the hard way. Thinking I was invincible led to injuries, under-fuelling, and neglecting recovery. I’m not proud of those moments, but they taught me more than any perfect training block ever could. If you’re like me, sometimes you have to experience the consequences before the lesson truly sticks🥲

Those setbacks changed the way I train, recover, speak to myself, respect the process, and I’m entering this next block stronger because of them.

A little reminder that progress is happening, even when it doesn’t always feel like it.

Keep showing up✨🤟🏼🙂‍↕️ by @keely_oreilly
