Next up on the Yale Art Gallery show highlights is Adia Millett @adiamillett, an Oakland based artist working in sculpture, textiles, embroidery, painting, collage, installation and video. I am so happy her work is part of this show. Check out her work.

A little over a week away, I cannot wait for Portrait of an Unlikely Space to open. Over the next couple of days, I will highlight the other incredible artists that make this show. I would like to start with Mary Enoch Elizabeth Baxter @isisthasaviour, an amazing artist who through her work is an advocate of Black women and girls.

I have an announcement, friends! Anyone who knows me has heard about my brilliant twin brother, Teague, more than once. He and the equally brilliant Amanda Heyman (my sister-in-law) have co-founded and just launched a new startup called Starting 11, an app that combines their love of fantasy sports and soccer.
I'll admit that I've never been a fantasy sports person and may even have laughed a few times at Teague's obsession with it. NONETHELESS, I'm going to download and actively play on the Starting 11 app, not only to support Teague and Amanda but also to have more fun with being the soccer fan that I already am. The fantasy games begin on August 12--the first day of the U.K. Premier League season.

Please take a look at their site (linked in my bio), see what they're all about, and, if you feel so inclined, sign up to play! by @keely_org
